Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment Spf 30 review

Hey now! If you’re a fan of color correcting beauty products, then chances are, you probably already know this product that I’m about to review. Or maybe you’re already planning to try it pretty soon. Oh I bet you will, because this magical and K beauty favorite Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment is a breakthrough product that works like a charm. This one of a kind color correcting cream works like an all-in-one product, be it as a foundation, a color-correcting cream, a bb or cc cream, a tinted primer, or simply as a lightweight moisturizer with added Spf. However you may wanna call it or use it, this cream has it all.

It’s hard to describe what this cream really is, because it works like it’s “the cream to end all creams.” It’s marketed as a color-correcting product that’s green to beige and it’s supposed to correct redness, uneven skin tone and hides blemishes. While it does all that it promises, this cream, though it looks very light green, actually transforms into a beige color upon contact with the skin, thus making it smooth looking and bright. No worries, it actually doesn’t leave a green cast on the face, instead, it simply neutralizes redness and makes the face look more awake. This won’t make you look like The Grinch, so chillax.

The scent of this Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment reminds me a bit of Glamglow’s Supermud Mask, but way lighter. This cream is ideal for dry, oily, sensitive or normal skin types. It’s inspired by the legend of Asian Tigers who roll on Tiger Grass to heal their wounds during their battles. That’s because Tiger Grass are believed to promote wound healing on the skin.

The first time I used this cream, I thought this was a just a color correcting moisturizer or even primer. Pardon my ignorance, so I applied it liberally on my face, just like applying any other moisturizer, and voila! I looked so pale and flat, a la memoir of a frustrated geisha, lol. I was like “is this how it’s supposed to be?” Oh well, I tried to remove some of the product’s residue on my face and I even applied my primer and foundation after that. Yeah, ignorance is a bliss. Then I went to my local grocery store, feeling all glamed-up, because hey! I got a new facial cream, and it’s color correcting and it’s got spf, hmmmp! Surprise, surprise, when I was about to pay for my goods, the lady at the counter was staring at my face, I thought, hmmm, she must have thought I looked one of a kind, a rare species, but no, there’s nothing rare about it, and there’s definitely something wrong at the way she was staring at my face. It’s as if she’d seen a dehydrated ghost. Hahaha, oh no! oh heck, it must be this Cicapair Color Correcting Cream. Lesson learned, do not put a lot of this product on your face, I repeat, do not put a lot, unless it’s Halloween. A little bit goes a very very long way. You don’t even need a foundation or even a primer for this, just set it with your favorite setting powder and you’re done. You don’t even need the little spatula that came with it. Just tap a bit of product using your finger and it’ll do the job.

This Cicapair color correcting treatment from Dr. Jart+ is a must have for the days when you don’t have time to do a full makeup routine. Sometimes putting a primer and foundation then setting it, plus contouring and baking it, then add strobing in it can be a real pain in the neck. You can even include the stress, sallowness and redness on it too. So when you need to evacuate out of your house fast, you’re gonna need this cream. This will save you time and will hide the traces of stress from your beautiful image. On top of that, you know that it’ll work to heal your face and prevent it from going rogue.

Whatcha think about this K beauty bestseller? I think it’s very holy grail potential, in fact, it’s already on my list.
