too faced melted liquified long wear lipstick review

Let’s get Too Obsessed with Too Much Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks. First, I must say that these lipsticks are really too interesting and too cute to handle. They are in such totally cute tubes that are almost like candy wrappers, or so that’s what I imagined. 🙂 You know how too faced products are, they have an amazing and eye-catching packaging. Not all of us can resist.

I have been interested in their Melted Liquified Lipsticks line too see how it does compared to other liquid matte lipsticks out there. I’ve seen some people criticizing or praising its applicator, while some complained about their scent or rave about their texture and lasting power.

I picked up the best three that I think matched best with my skin tone.

too faced melted nude review

Too Faced Melted Nude – Neutral Nude. This really goes on like a true nude color. Not too washed-out on my skin, which is great. Very wearable and easy to apply. It glides rather easily and accurately, thanks to its precision tip applicator. I don’t really think that this has a shine of a gloss, since it goes on very creamy and semi-matte on my lips. Staining, yeah, long wearing? I would say that it has a pretty average to good staying power. You’ll definitely going to reapply these throughout the day.

too faced melted chihuahua review

Too Faced Melted Chihuahua – Dusty Mauve. What a funny name, who let the dogs out? I’m not sure about the name of this particular color, but I find it really amusing. I really like this color since it’s kinda one shade darker than the color of my lips. It appears slightly mauve-brown on me, which complements my NC30 skin well. One thing that kinda bothers me with these liquified lipsticks are its strong vanilla scent. But I’m kind of getting used to it.

too faced melted fig

Too Faced Melted Fig – Rosy Orchid. This was getting harder and harder to find in my local Ulta and Sephora. I have no idea why. Well, I might have known a little bit. When I first tried this in store, I was having doubts because I thought it might appear too dark on me. But I tried it again, and I had a change of heart, simply because I realized that this color is actually stunning. I still try not to put a lot, because this is very pigmented. In the end, this grows on you, like a parasite? no, not like that 🙂 you know, taking a second glance. You’ll never know what you’ll realize.

I haven’t tried the Melted Metal ones since I’m not really a fan of glossy or shimmery lipsticks or liquid lipsticks. However, I do have two favorites from Too Faced’s Melted Chocolate Liquified Long Wear Lipstick line reviewed here. Also, Too Faced just released its Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipsticks. They’re almost sold out in Sephora, dayum! that, I still have to try.
