My name is eat, my sign is eat, my number is eat…You need to let me eat…need to let me eat…Oh Hi There! sorry about that. I just got distracted, LOL 🙂 This post is all about my favorite lipstick (line) in the whole wide the world. Know why? because these particular lipstick’s formulation rocks! I have never ever raved on a lipstick line like this. In fact, if it wasn’t for the price, I would have hoarded these. A round of applause to March Jacob’s “Le Marc” Lip Creme.
The best thing about these lipsticks are its wonderful and outstanding formulation. It doesn’t look very creamy on the packaging but once applied, it gives a right amount of creaminess without feeling sticky or heavy. It is extremely light, as if there’s nothing on your lips, and on top of that, these lipsticks are very long-wearing as well. It’s meant to stay for 10 long hours with bold colors in just one swipe. It is very well-pigmented without any flavor or taste. One swipe can give you that long lasting color that leaves a nice after-wear stain after a couple of hours wearing it.
Here’s three of my favorites:
Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme in Infamous – Muted Warm Pink. This color definitely looks muted and on the lighter side of pink. It is very wearable and can look like “your lips but better.” I like wearing this for my “everyday running around town look.” Just enough to give your lips that flush of color without looking overdone, plus, it really lasts long.
Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang – Dusty Rose. This I got in a cute and tiny packaging at Sephora during my birthday. It’s a gorgeous mauve bright rose that really spells summer and peonies. It’s such a fun and bright rose fuchsia mix that will surely brighten up your day when you wear this. It is very creamy, in fact, slightly creamier than Infamous, I think. It glides easily and lasts a long long time, even after eating or drinking.
Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme in J’adore – Light Mocha. I picked this up after loving the two shades mentioned above. I wanted a muted brown, sorta next to my skin color kind of lipstick. Well, this color didn’t fail me. I love how wearable of a brown this is. It’s not too dark, to make you look vampy or too nude to make you look washed-out. You can definitely wear this for a day look. It’s basically a gorgeous light to medium brown that complements any skin tone out there. I also love how the formula is long lasting and leaves a stain after several hours of wear.
I was always looking for lipsticks that are truly long lasting, and I thought they’re just a gimmick, or that there’s no such thing. Well, Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme proved me wrong. Such long wearing lipsticks do exist. In fact, I have yet to find a competition for these, perhaps Tom Ford’s? Those are very creamy, true, but still Marc Jacob’s Le Marc Lip Creme wins, and the magnetic packaging is just unique and interesting.
Ciao now…gotta eat!
