I’m a huge fan of Dior Addict Lip Glow and almost all Dior beauty products. Upon purchasing something in Dior.com, I received a sample of their new Dior Addict Lipstick which I was so curious about. I’ve been wondering about its difference from the Lip Glow, since they both kinda looked similar.
Dior’s site mentioned that it has a hydra-gel core for a top coat effect that flaunts audacious shine.
It does give an audience shine effect and is really comforting on the lips upon application. They do feel like a heavy lip gloss or lip balm which may weigh on your lips for some time. What I don’t like about these are the color difference with each other. It’s hard to tell which one is “Wonderful“, “Smile or “Tribale“. The only indication is that Wonderful has more shimmer than Smile (more muted) and Tribale is more like a coral color.
For someone with pigmented lips and tanned skin, “Wonderful“, “Smile” and “Tribale” will look just the same when applied. I find them to be too sheer, almost like the Lip glow. For that reason, I prefer the Be Dior shade among the four, but most likely I willing not be purchasing any of these in its full size. If you’re interested, you can buy it here
