Fall Scents for The Home

Happy Fall, everyone! Sweater Weather is here, and I could not be more excited to share the scents, candles, and diffusers I am loving this Fall.

Fall is always a very special season for me. It marks new beginnings, hope, and bittersweet endings. There is something beautiful, cozy, and nostalgic about this season. I guess that is the essence of Fall for all of us ‑ the beauty of a restart, a reinvention, a chance for something new and different.

Speaking of something new and different. I have something new and different to share with you in this post. It’s all about the products you may want to explore to amplify the coziness in your home. Fall is the best time to experiment and try different scents. This is also the time that we enjoy lounging more at home since the weather calls for us to chill. Imagine sitting by the fireplace with your favorite warm drink and trying to relax. Imagine matching that relaxing vibe with an equally cozy scent. What scent would you choose?

Here are my recs:

Replica Autumn Vibes Diffuser by Maison Margiela – MM’s Replica has recently released their swoon-worthy Fall-ready diffuser. The name is “Autumn Vibes”. The diffuser truly, hands down, captured the true meaning of Autumn vibes because the entire scent and aesthetic of the diffuser spells “Fall memories in a bottle.” If you could contain your favorite memories of Fall and put it in a bottle, well, this is what you get. A nostalgia-inducing diffuser designed to fill a whole room with the warm and earthy fragrance reminiscent of a stroll with fallen leaves swirling around.

Vitruvi Diffuser and Essential Oils – Vitruvi is known for their beautiful and sleek ceramic/stone diffusers that not only function as a high-quality diffuser/aromatherapy but also have a charming design worthy of being a must-have for any home décor. The diffusers are on the pricey side, but you can get them at discounted prices on their site or at Amazon. One of the best things about having a Vitruvi diffuser is how it throws a slow, dreamy steam that will put you in a dream-like mood.

Do you also know that Vitruvi makes fabulous essential oils? The secret to making their diffuser work so well is to use it with their high-quality essential oils. Their essential oils are very concentrated and can last a long time. I am talking about days of longevity in terms of scent-lasting power. Illume Candles: This brand is my latest discovery. I was swooned over when I saw their ceramic and glass candles shaped like pumpkins and apples that smell and look so Fall-perfect. I am not much of a fan of pumpkin scents, but I was so surprised that Illume’s pumpkin ceramic candle’s scent is pleasing and not overwhelming. Another thing I love about the brand is its affordability. Their candles are not pricey, and the quality is superb. Not to mention, they have one of the cutest packaging I have ever seen. So, if you are looking for a perfect candle to decorate your home this Fall that is within budget, grab one of these now.

This review will not be complete without our favorite Diptyque candles. There are two Diptyque candles I recommend this Fall. These two are the ones I keep purchasing and reaching for because of the coziness of the scents.

Feu de Bois (Fire Wood) – The scent of this candle captures the smell of burning wood. Imagine the scent of your fireplace eternally burning while the autumn leaves are falling or when snowflakes hit your window, and you feel the need to snuggle your pet or watch a lighthearted show on Netflix. That is what this candle is all about.

Tubereuse (Tuberose) – If you prefer a heavy floral scent for Fall or even Winter, this beautiful musky floral candle gives a feminine vibe while highlighting the coziness of the coming chilly seasons. This candle has an alluring and smoldering vibe fitting for any vanity of a woman who knows who she is and what she wants.

UBeauty Review

Happy sweater weather, everyone. It is that time of the season when we need to add extra protection to our skin. The Fall and Winter seasons can make our skin dry. We all know that dry skin can be challenging to deal with. The more you let your skin dry, the more it becomes prone to other issues, such as cracking, itching, and even unnecessary breakouts or infections due to broken skin integrity.

I have slowly incorporated Ubeauty’s products into my routine for a few months. I had to give the products some time to take effect on my skin before I could say that the products genuinely worked. And work; they did.

Please read below to see which Ubeauty products did wonders for my skin. The following are the top three products I recommend you try from the brand as starters.

Resurfacing Compound

This is the serum that wowed many magazine editorials, review posts, fashionistas, beauty enthusiasts like moi, and all trailblazing influencers. There is a lot to love in this golden serum. This is supercharged with antioxidants, vitamins C and E, retinol, and multi-hydroxy acids. Powerful, right? This product obliterated the need to grab different skincare products to address various issues. You get your vitamins, acids, retinol, and other skincare jujus in this serum. This product aims to give you brightened skin, diminish large pores, and even out skintone while leaving it revitalized and youthful, giving you that lit-from-within lewk.

For me, this is one of the best serums I have ever tried. I am impressed with the result and how it feels on my skin. This product feels like a vitamin C serum, but it works like a combination of all the good serums I have applied to my skin. My skin feels softer, skintone looks more even and brighter. To use this, apply 2-3 pumps on the skin after washing, followed by your favorite moisturizer or the Ubeauty Super Hydrator. Depending on your skin’s tolerance, you can use it once or twice daily.

The Super Hydrator

I was not expecting a lot when I first tried this moisturizer. But there are just some things in life that you will never know until you try. It is similar to the thought process of not judging someone before you actually know someone. You know what they say? Many people got burned by jumping to conclusions. This moisturizer is no different. That is because, unlike any other moisturizer, this makes your skin glow. There is something about this moisturizer that gives you that glassy skin look, apart from hydrating your skin for up to 48 hours and beyond. Sometimes, I use this as a standalone moisturizer and foundation, which works like a charm. This product has hyaluronic acid, purified oat extract, shea butter, argan oil, avocado oil, grapeseed oil, and peptides. The level of hydration this gives is fantastic. This product truly moisturizes, reduces wrinkles, and restores and protects dehydrated, dry skin from within.

I love the moisturizer a lot because of its powerful formulation and dewy skin effect. You can use this once or twice daily if necessary or after using the Ubeauty resurfacing compound.

The Barrier Bioactive Treatment

If you need further moisturization or want your skin to feel baby-soft again. Here is a once or twice-weekly mask inspired by the immortal jellyfish (per Ubeauty). As I captioned in the Gram, this mask makes your skin so soft after just one use. That is because this mask is highly concentrated with bioactive marine ingredients, urea, vitamin B6, sodium DNA, shea butter, hyaluronic acid, purified oat extract, fruit hydroxy acids, jojoba wax, sunflower wax, and mimosa wax. Using this overnight, the skin becomes well-moisturized, nourished, and supple. The mask renews the skin, softens rough patches, and soothes sensitive areas.

You can use this mask twice or thrice a week as part of the last step in your skincare routine.

Years ago, I stumbled upon a skincare brand that revolutionized how we see skincare ingredients nowadays. It used to be that we could only access skincare products with a high concentration of formulas or ingredients through prescriptions. Well, that is still how it works mostly nowadays, but there are some fantastic skincare brands right now that come with medical-grade formulations accessible through popular beauty stores like Sephora or Ulta.

Complexion Renewal Pads – I love this complexion pad so much because it is a gentle exfoliator comprised of glycolic acid and salicylic acid, which helps to decongest the pores. This gives a nice glow-from-within look. The mild peeling effect is perfect for everyday or every other day use. Also, this has botanical ingredients that detoxify the pores and is overall non-drying. The pad itself is non-abrasive and feels soft and smooth to the skin. There is a lovely, clean scent in this product that is refreshing. I recommend this for those who want to add acids to their skincare routine but do not want to get the strong peeling effect.

10% Vitamin C Self-Activating – I love adding 10% vitamin C to my routine. This product feels like a supercharged vitamin C primer. This goes smoothly on the skin and gives a mattifying look. The exciting part about this is how it goes well as a base to hold and keep the foundation for hours. With the added vitamin C, the skin brightens with continued use. This improves my skin’s dull, uneven tone and even brightens post-hormonal breakouts.

Instant Pore Refiner – As you can see, this product is for those of us who struggle with “pore” issues. Enlarged pores? Clogged pores? Give this a try. This product aims to decongest the pores, similar to the Zo Complexion Renewal Pad, but this has Salicyloyl Phytosphingosine, which not only decongests the pores but also minimizes their size. This has vitamins A, C, and E as antioxidants and stem cell complex. Also, this product minimizes skin oiliness and makes it shine-free with its Rosa Canina fruit extract ingredient. This improves my skin’s texture, and my pores do look like it is tightening. How cool is that?

Acne Control – This product has 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, which is impressive because it means the product works! A 10% peroxide is enough to kill bacteria and control acne ASAP. This product is a must because it rescues the skin from any form of breakouts, keeping them invisible and well-controlled. Pairing this with a very hydrating moisturizer or a balm will keep dryness at bay, which comes with using medical-grade benzoyl peroxides.

Exfoliating Polish – I have an obsession with this exfoliating facial scrub. This is a must-have and a holy-grail material. This ethereal blue scrub with galactical swirls warms on the skin upon contact. I am not talking about the slight warming effect; I am talking about the profound warming effect that makes you stop and look at what is inside the jar that makes it so magical. The scrub is not just any other scrub; there is vitamin C in it, and it feels like a thousand tiny particles gently exfoliating your skin and getting rid of any dead skin cells. The tiny particles are magnesium oxide crystals, which regulate cell regeneration. This has a clean soap scent, but it is not overwhelming. It smells fresh and different from any other exfoliating scrub I have tried. Therefore, you must run, not walk. Get this facial scrub ASAP.

I recommend this brand if you want a serious skincare brand with quality formulas that genuinely deliver. This brand is endorsed by Dr. Raj Terkonda (top facial plastic surgeon) and Dr. Ed Hepworth(The king of ENTs/extraordinaire). What more could you ask for? Isn’t that amazing?
