Frizzy Hair? Bad Hair Day? Nothing is more annoying than seeing your reflection in the mirror with electrocuted hair syndrome, a.k.a the Albert Einstein hairstyle. 🙂 OMG, I truly know the feeling, and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone in this world with a monstrous hair that gets possessed from time to time. 🙂
In this hot and humid weather we’re experiencing nowadays, it’s so easy to get frizzy hair that won’t obey no matter what. Unless you have enough time to flat-iron your hair, (which can damage it) chances are, most of us just don’t have the time to style or even blow dry our crowning glories. Take it from me, my hair is usually straight and thick, but in this heat wave, it tends to dry and starts looking like a bird’s nest. 🙂 For the life of me, I’ve been searching for a really good anti-frizz hair care products that will allow me to just “wash and wear” my hair. In fact I’ve been experimenting on some already, but the one’s that’s been working really well on me so far are the Kerastase Anti-Frizz Hair Care products. Pronounced: Keh-rahs-tahs, but I like to say it as: Keh-rahs-teyhs, because I just feel like it, LOL. They’re pricey but I think they’re worth the money and can save you a lot of time and trouble. Plus, they truly give that frizz-free, healthy and maintenance-free hair.
Kerastase Discipline Bain Fluidealiste Shampoo – This is a great unisex anti-frizz shampoo. A little bit goes a long with this because it produces a lot of suds which I love because for its price, it needs to last a long time 🙂 , but also because it feels like I’m thoroughly washing my hair. This shampoo is also perfect for color-treated or chemically-treated hair, because it won’t strip the treatments done on your hair. The only thing I may not like about this is the smell. At first, the smell was refreshing, but after a while, it starts to smell like antibiotics, haha! But seriously, I don’t really mind the scent as long it works in controlling my frizz. Additionally, this shampoo can be used in conjunction with other brands of hair conditioners, but it would be perfect when paired with the conditioner below.
Kerastase Discipline Fondant Fluidealiste Conditioner – This is the conditioner that will work really well with Kerastase Bain Fluidealiste shampoo mentioned above. Together with this, frizzy hair will be tamed down to its core. Even though this conditioner doesn’t feel like the creamiest conditioner in the world, it does work like a charm. It still smells like the shampoo mentioned above, but I think this product is a keeper.
Kerastase Nutritive Serum Oleo-Relax – If you still have frizzy hair after using those products mentioned above, add this. I usually apply this while my hair is still damp and it does make my hair relaxed, shiny and frizz-free. I was a bit skeptical at first because the serum feels light and oily, but when I first tried it, I was blown away. You don’t even need to put a lot, plus this has an amazing floral scent.
