Louis Vuitton’s classic Alma bag has a new shade. It’s a gorgeous wine-red color called “Griotte”.
Griotte is a French word, meaning “Morello Cherry”, basically a tart cherry color. This color is not only striking, but also sleek, chic and polished. It’s red but not over-the-top red. The kind of red that’s muted, slightly vampy yet classic and elegant. Frankly, the bag itself changes its color intensity depending on the light.
Any woman will fall head over heels with this beautiful red color. It is definitely darker than Pomme d’amour and lighter than Amarante, with slight shimmer that can only be visible during daylight or with enough lighting. Mysterious, Love it!
The LV Alma PM (Petit Model) is an ideal everyday use bag, measuring 12.6 inches in length, 9.4 inches in height and 5.9 inches in width. It is quite formal and serious, yet can be casual and not too heavy.
Sooo breathtaking and sophisticated, thanks to LV for coming up with more and more colors every year.
For years now, the iconic Louis Vuitton Alma bag has mesmerized the world. Maybe it’s the Chanel-ish or Dior-ish classic shape or style, maybe it’s those beautiful leathers they made the bag with, or maybe it’s just simply the allure the woman exudes upon carrying the bag.
Whatever it is, the Alma bag, combined with the newly covete Griotte shade will just never go out of style. Can’t beat the classic, indeed.
Isn’t this bag pretty? Are you an Alma fan too? Which LV bag do you prefer?
