Tatcha The Water Cream Review

Hi there skincare junkies! The Tatcha Water Cream (1.7 oz for $68) is one of those perfect moisturizers that screams drenching raindrops, misty summers and cooling sea breeze. Ever since this anti-aging and oil-free cream came out, I knew I couldn’t let this pass me by. The packaging is really one of a kind and it’s simply breathtakingly gorgeous.

Tatcha The Water Cream Review

If it’s pretty on the outside, it’s even more beautiful on the inside. This cream has a complex, interesting, and irresistible scent. It’s kind of a light floral, sweet, and citrusy-green tea, which reminds me a lot of a tart Soursop. It’s so good, it’s hard not to keep sniffing. On the other hand, this Water Cream is lightweight and my skin absorbs it easily. This has a bit of a cooling effect and thus feels quite refreshing. While it feels like a luxurious creamy water, this moisturizer doesn’t need to be applied a lot in order for it to work. Just a scoop of the cute (provided) spatula will give enough hydration to the face.

Tatcha Water Cream Review

In my experience, this Tatcha The Water Cream is truly hydrating and very balancing on my oily-prone skin. I felt a plumping effect and my skin didn’t breakout at all. It also tightened my pores and it’s a great moisturizer under any makeup. In addition to that, I think this cream is also great if you have any dry patches on the face or even if you have a normal to sensitive skin type.

Tatcha Water Cream Review

This cream is so great as a daily moisturizer and it deserves to be on the front row of your shelves. I believe this is a great all around cream for everyone and it feels really luxurious that you would want to layer this all over your face any chance you’d get. It’s like you’ve been drenched from an early morning misty rain, it’s so good and so refreshing. Like having a spa at home.

Overall, this Tatcha Water Cream is truly magical and unique. I couldn’t say anything negative about this cream, it’s perfect, and that packaging, oh my, Tatcha always has the prettiest skincare packaging I’ve ever seen. So, if you’re looking for a reliable, all-rounder, irresistibly-scented, non-irritating, and luxe cream with a gorgeous packaging, well, you know what to buy next.

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Drink of H20 Hydrating Boost Moisturizer

Hello Peeps! Here a moisturizer that is so hard to resist, the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Drink of H20 Moisturizer (1.7 oz for $39) is probably one of the most irresistible moisturizers I’ve ever tried. From the moment I’ve sniffed this at Sephora, I was totally blown away by its awesome and delicious scent. Even the total package of the moisturizer is hard to ignore. Such beauty and such quality.

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Drink of H20 Hydrating Boost Moisturizer review

This Drink of H20 Moisturizer from Tarte has a catchy vibrant packaging and it smells like a thousand citruses, sweet oranges and fresh lavenders all rolled into one. It’s delicious, fresh and invigorating at the same time. This gel moisturizer has a bluish aqua-tinge like a fresh marine water, and it feels very cooling on the skin. It soothes and it refreshes without feeling greasy and it hydrates very well. It has hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, and electrolyte-balancing sea salt.

This is also vegan, hypoallergenic, and it works on any skin type. I love how it feels on my skin, especially in this hot and humid summer. It cools my skin down and it’s not sticky. It also feels light like you’re not wearing any moisturizer at all and my skin absorbs this very well, with no break out whatsoever.

If you have an oily-prone skin, this is definitely one of the product to have or to at least try. I love its gel formulation and in fact, the whole Tarte Rainforest of the Sea line seems to be really good. From their wonderful 4-in-1 Setting Mist to their Color Splash Lipsticks, men, I love Tarte this summer.

I don’t really have a lot of critics for this moisturizer. It smells good, it’s very light, it’s vegan, it spreads easily all over the face, it’s not oily, it’s calming, it’s super hydrating and it’s great to layer under makeup. My skin felt so soft after using this and the packaging is beautiful and very Instagrammable, LOL. It’s really awesome and I truly recommend it. I can only wish that the container was a bit larger or that they’d make another one with Spf in it. Dontcha think?

Philosophy Take a Deep Breath Oil-Free Oxygenating Gel Cream Spf 30 Review

Here’s a moisturizer of the moment that feels like a breath of fresh air. The Philosophy Take a Deep Breath Oil-Free Oxygenating Gel Cream (2 oz for $37) is just simply the kind of moisturizer you’d want to have in this warming weather. It feels lightweight and very invigorating, especially with its fresh and subtle green tea scent.

It’s a gel-cream formula that’s not only oil-free, but it also acts as an antioxidant and anti-pollutant, thus allowing the skin to breathe. With the added Spf 30, this moisturizer will protect your skin any time of the day. On top of that, It doesn’t feel sticky and it gets absorbed easily within seconds.

Philosophy Take a Deep Breath Oil-Free Oxygenating Gel Cream Spf 30 Review

The formula is very hydrating and it spreads into the skin easily. No need to put a lot. It’s one of those moisturizers that are multitaskers and the kind that anyone with a combination, oily-prone, or even dry skin will need to have in their purses. This is so versatile and it saves you the time of applying additional sun protectors on the face. You can also definitely wear your favorite non-Spf foundation with this too.

Philosophy Take a Deep Breath Oil-Free Oxygenating Gel Cream Spf 30 Review

Somehow, there’s a few things that irked me about this moisturizer, even though it’s almost perfect from its texture down to its scent. I noticed that the formula is quite runny so it tends to spill easily if you’re not careful when opening the cap. Also, the tube is made of a very thin plastic that it squeezes out the product very easily. I also noticed that mine came with almost half of the tube empty. It’s like there’s not enough product in there. It’s a pity because I really love the formulation of this moisturizer, especially nowadays that it’s kinda hard to find a lightweight moisturizer with good amounts of Spf in it.

Overall, I’d still purchase this moisturizer and I recommend it to you all. I think you won’t be disappointed with this, just take heed of the few downsides and I’m pretty sure you’ll love this a lot just like I do.
