Kaja Beauty Bento Bouncy Eyeshadow Trio

Kaja Beauty Piรฑa Colada Collection Review + Swatches

Kaja Pina Colada

Hello. Iโ€™m so excited to review some newness from Kaja Beauty in this post. Their latest Piรฑa Colada collection is absolutely giving me Summer and self-care vibes even though weโ€™re in the middle of Autumn. I canโ€™t help but wish for more sunshine and bright warm days every time I look at these bright yellow goodies, and guess what? The scents of these are TDF. Curious much?

Kaja Beauty Balmy Bento Lip Balm+Scrub Pina Colada

Balmy Bento Lip Balm + Scrub โ€“ The upper portion of this cute product is a very moisturizing lip balm that smells like coconut. The texture is so light, non-sticky, and it keeps the lips hydrated without chapping. The bottom part is a lip scrub that smells like fresh pineapples. It is SO good and it is so exfoliating without being too harsh on the lips. The combination of coconut and pineapple in this fun balm+scrub product is so irresistible and so addicting. I highly recommend this.

Beauty Bento Bouncy Shimmer Eyeshadow Trio in Alotta Colada โ€“ This sunkissed neutral-tone eyeshadow trio with coconut scent is one of the most delightful eyeshadows Iโ€™ve ever tried. I love a good quality eyeshadow with a yummy scent but theyโ€™re usually hard to come by. The shades of this cute stackable compact are something I would definitely wear every day and even more so now in this pandemic where we’re all about “the eyesโ€. I find that all of the shades are so creamy and so easy to apply or blend on the lids, plus, you can layer them easily. I appreciate that the shades are in neutral tone which can definitely work for any complexion.

Kaja Beauty Mist Me Hydrating Face Mist

Mist Me Hydrating Face Mist โ€“ This face mist is making me wish for sunshine on a beach while sipping Piรฑa Colada, lol. You can tell I badly need a vacay, but don’t we all, right? This mist is probably the next best thing to that dreamy vacay Iโ€™m wishing to have. I love the yummy scent of this, which is kinda like having a spritz of pineapple and coco juice on your face. This hydrates my face without that sticky feeling and it helps to prevent dry Autumn skin especially if you apply this regularly. I have yet to test and see if this works really well on setting my makeup. I will update yโ€™all soon.

Kaja Beauty Piรฑa Colada Collection review

Overall, I highly recommend these delightful collection from Kaja Beauty. I think all of the products in this collection are very well-done. I love the delicious scent and I love the quality of this makeup collection. Iโ€™m rating each of them as 5 stars, especially in terms of packaging and overall design.

Kaja Beauty To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Set Review + Swatches

kaja beauty

2018 was the Summer of love. The year and the season where The Kissing Booth, Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before were released in Netflix. Yes, I keep tabs because I watched them all! lol. I love a good rom-com and these three films were a lot of fun to watch, even though I may no longer be exactly at the right demographic to watch them. Still, to me, they proved to be some of the best films I’ve seen in 2018.

It’s been a long time since rom-coms started becoming popular again, but with the latest The Kissing Booth 2 and TATBILB, P.S. I Still Love You (sequels), I’m hoping that there will a renewed love for well-done movie genres like these. Anyway, speaking of “To All The Boys…”, Kaja Beauty released a set inspired by this heartwarming film early this year. Though this set is only limited-edition and is no longer available nowadays, still, I would like to share with you its contents and the swatches. You can still purchase each product (individually) at Sephora. Check them out below.

Cheeky Stamp Blendable Blush in 01 Coy (0.17 oz: 24 USD) – This is the cutest blush packaging I’ve ever seen. So cheeky and so chic. This is also very easy to apply, just dip the heart applicator on the liquid blush and stamp it on the cheeks. The shade coy is a light dusty rose that is perfect for a very sheer and natural flush blush effect. See the rest of the Kaja Beauty Cheeky Stamp swatches HERE.

Heart Melter Lip Gloss Stick in 08 So Fine (0.049 oz: 17 USD) – Blushing Cinnamon. This is a very gorgeous rosy cinnamon shade that looks like a medium warm nude on my pigmented lips. The feel is like a velvety lip gloss that is so lightweight and non-sticky. This has a click to release application. For more Kaja Heart Melter Gloss swatches, click HERE.

Moon Crystal Sparkling Eye Pigment in 04 Rose Quartz (0.29 oz: 16 USD) – As a matte eyeshadow lover, I was a bit wary in using something as shimmery as this rose duo-chrome liquid eyeshadow. But what I find out is that since this is very pigmented and has a metallic finish, I only have to use a bit of this in order to add drama to my lids. Since we’re all about emphasizing our eyes nowadays, I’m really enjoying the look of this. This is very easy to apply and this adheres well on the lids.

Overall, this is a great set and if you haven’t seen the “To All The Boys…” films, well, you must. Imagine yourself applying these Kaja beauties right after watching them while listening to Marina’s “All About Love” or Lauv’s “I Like Me Better” theme song. It’ll have you swooning in seconds.

Kaja Dream Puff Radiant Mousse Primer, Cat Nap Under Eye Brightener & Mochi Pop Bouncy Blush Review + Swatches

Kaja Beauty

Hello. How are you all? I can’t believe it’s been more than a month since the lockdown. Entering the fifth week of social distancing is starting to feel like a drag. I miss a lot of things and I’m sure you miss a lot of stuff too. I still hope that this is all going to be over soon but in the meantime, let’s put on some makeup and pretend like we’re going somewhere nice and fun ๐Ÿ˜€. Speaking of makeup, I have a few suggestions from Kaja Beauty which you may want to look into right now because Sephora is having a Spring Sale Event. Just use the code SPRINGSAVE.

There are a lot of Kaja Beauty products that I love. From their Stamp Wing Eyeliner (reviewed HERE) down to their Stamp Blushes (swatched HERE), Kaja is a brand that won’t disappoint and they keep having exciting new releases that will for sure make you curious. I had the opportunity to try their Mochi Pop Blushes, Mousse Primer, and their Cat Nap Under Eye Brightener, among other things. So, check out what I think about these products below.

Kaja Beauty Mochi Pop Bouncy Blush review

Mochi Pop Bouncy Blush (0.15 oz: 19 USD) – This is probably one of the best cream-to-powder bouncy blushes I’ve ever tried. Yes, the texture of this is really soft and totally bouncy to the touch, and most all, each compact is loaded with very pigmented shades that are very easy to blend with just the finger. Apart from the cute packaging, each blush shade is long-wearing and has subtle shimmers that add a slight dimension to the face especially during this bright season.

01 Aura – peach pink with golden shimmer

02 Atmosphere – muted neutral dusty rose with subtle shimmer

03 Spoils of Mars – fuchsia rose with subtle shimmer

Kaja Beauty Cat Nap Under Eye Brightener Review

Kaja Beauty Dream Puff Radiant Mousse Primer

Dream Puff Radiant Mousse Primer (1.94 oz: 19 USD) – This light and airy mousse primer which comes in only one shade (Peach Glow, a universal shimmering golden peach) gives a lit-from-within look or effect. This has Marshmallow Root Extract and Hyaluronic Acid that primes the skin and settles with a slight shimmery finish that can add radiance after every foundation. I really like this a lot especially when you want to add a touch of healthy-looking glow on the face. The only caveat is the dispenser which tends to release too much of the product. Other than that, this also blurs the pores and preps the skin for a nice canvas.

Kaja Beauty Cat Nap Under Eye Brightener

Cat Nap Under Eye Brightener (0.19 oz: 19 USD) – I was really curious about this undereye brightener. I wasn’t sure if this was going to conceal well or if this was just going to add some radiance along the undereye, or both. This also comes in one tone, which is quite peachy and has a radiant finish. I would describe this product as quite similar (or perhaps even better) than the Tatcha Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminatorย (seen HERE) which truly brightens the undereyes and gives you that fully wide-awake hydrated look but this won’t totally hide the dark circles well on its own. You may wear this alone for a naturally bright undereye, but you could also layer this with a concealer to totally hide the dark circles.

Bottom line, I love all these Kaja goodies especially now that we’re into sporting the natural look. The Mochi Pop Blushes are great for showcasing the natural curves of our cheeks, the Cat Nap Under Eye Brightener is also good for looking like we’ve been sleeping just fine ๐Ÿ˜€, and the Mousse Primer is perfect for that radiant look effect during this quarantine-era.

Stay beautiful and healthy.
