Kaja Beauty Air Heart Lipstick Review + Swatches

Halo darlings!

I’ve got another lipstick review for y’all. I have always wanted to review these lipsticks because they are just so pretty inside and out. But your aunt has been extremely busy lately solving puzzles and getting distracted with gardening, lol. I do miss you all, so very very much, like really really for real much, haha! Please do check my Insta for some impromptu updates, lol.

So, without any fuss, let us talk about the Kaja Air Heart Lipsticks. If you are a longtime reader of this blog, then ya know I am a big fan of Kaja Beauty and their really cute products. The latest of my faves from them are their heart-shaped lipsticks because of several reasons:

They have a very soft melt-on-your-lips texture
Have a natural finish
Almost all the shades are so wearable
The packaging and the product itself are so cute (heart-shaped)
Good lasting power
Currently on sale

I am usually a big fan of matte lipsticks, but I will take a natural lipstick like these in a heartbeat, lol. The biggest surprise for me with these is the fact that even though these are some of the softest lipsticks I have ever tried, I am amazed by the lasting power of these (3-4 hours). The medium shades tend to leave a lovely stain which lasts for about a day. Also, these lipsticks have no strong scents at all. Impressive! Almost all the shades suit my skintone very very well. If you ask what my favorite shades are, I can tell you that all of them are my faves, but I am so in love with the colors: Ride or Die, Sprung, and Boo.

So, if you are a fan of natural finish lipsticks (not too drying, not too shiny), I definitely recommend these. Also, if you are a fan of rose and mauve tones in lipsticks like yours truly, I bet you will love these a lot.

Kaja Beauty Piña Colada Collection Review + Swatches

Hello. I’m so excited to review some newness from Kaja Beauty in this post. Their latest Piña Colada collection is absolutely giving me Summer and self-care vibes even though we’re in the middle of Autumn. I can’t help but wish for more sunshine and bright warm days every time I look at these bright yellow goodies, and guess what? The scents of these are TDF. Curious much?

Balmy Bento Lip Balm + Scrub – The upper portion of this cute product is a very moisturizing lip balm that smells like coconut. The texture is so light, non-sticky, and it keeps the lips hydrated without chapping. The bottom part is a lip scrub that smells like fresh pineapples. It is SO good and it is so exfoliating without being too harsh on the lips. The combination of coconut and pineapple in this fun balm+scrub product is so irresistible and so addicting. I highly recommend this.

Beauty Bento Bouncy Shimmer Eyeshadow Trio in Alotta Colada – This sunkissed neutral-tone eyeshadow trio with coconut scent is one of the most delightful eyeshadows I’ve ever tried. I love a good quality eyeshadow with a yummy scent but they’re usually hard to come by. The shades of this cute stackable compact are something I would definitely wear every day and even more so now in this pandemic where we’re all about “the eyes”. I find that all of the shades are so creamy and so easy to apply or blend on the lids, plus, you can layer them easily. I appreciate that the shades are in neutral tone which can definitely work for any complexion.

Mist Me Hydrating Face Mist – This face mist is making me wish for sunshine on a beach while sipping Piña Colada, lol. You can tell I badly need a vacay, but don’t we all, right? This mist is probably the next best thing to that dreamy vacay I’m wishing to have. I love the yummy scent of this, which is kinda like having a spritz of pineapple and coco juice on your face. This hydrates my face without that sticky feeling and it helps to prevent dry Autumn skin especially if you apply this regularly. I have yet to test and see if this works really well on setting my makeup. I will update y’all soon.

Overall, I highly recommend these delightful collection from Kaja Beauty. I think all of the products in this collection are very well-done. I love the delicious scent and I love the quality of this makeup collection. I’m rating each of them as 5 stars, especially in terms of packaging and overall design.

Kaja Beauty To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Set Review + Swatches

2018 was the Summer of love. The year and the season where The Kissing Booth, Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before were released in Netflix. Yes, I keep tabs because I watched them all! lol. I love a good rom-com and these three films were a lot of fun to watch, even though I may no longer be exactly at the right demographic to watch them. Still, to me, they proved to be some of the best films I’ve seen in 2018.

It’s been a long time since rom-coms started becoming popular again, but with the latest The Kissing Booth 2 and TATBILB, P.S. I Still Love You (sequels), I’m hoping that there will a renewed love for well-done movie genres like these. Anyway, speaking of “To All The Boys…”, Kaja Beauty released a set inspired by this heartwarming film early this year. Though this set is only limited-edition and is no longer available nowadays, still, I would like to share with you its contents and the swatches. Cheeky Stamp Blendable Blush in 01 Coy (0.17 oz: 24 USD) – This is the cutest blush packaging I’ve ever seen. So cheeky and so chic. This is also very easy to apply, just dip the heart applicator on the liquid blush and stamp it on the cheeks. The shade coy is a light dusty rose that is perfect for a very sheer and natural flush blush effect. See the rest of the Kaja Beauty Cheeky Stamp swatches HERE.

Heart Melter Lip Gloss Stick in 08 So Fine (0.049 oz: 17 USD) – Blushing Cinnamon. This is a very gorgeous rosy cinnamon shade that looks like a medium warm nude on my pigmented lips. The feel is like a velvety lip gloss that is so lightweight and non-sticky. This has a click to release application. For more Kaja Heart Melter Gloss swatches, click HERE.

Moon Crystal Sparkling Eye Pigment in 04 Rose Quartz (0.29 oz: 16 USD) – As a matte eyeshadow lover, I was a bit wary in using something as shimmery as this rose duo-chrome liquid eyeshadow. But what I find out is that since this is very pigmented and has a metallic finish, I only have to use a bit of this in order to add drama to my lids. Since we’re all about emphasizing our eyes nowadays, I’m really enjoying the look of this. This is very easy to apply and this adheres well on the lids.

Overall, this is a great set and if you haven’t seen the “To All The Boys…” films, well, you must. Imagine yourself applying these Kaja beauties right after watching them while listening to Marina’s “All About Love” or Lauv’s “I Like Me Better” theme song. It’ll have you swooning in seconds.
