Polène Number Seven/Numero Sept Mini Bag Review

Polène Paris Number Seven Grey leather bag review

Hi all. As promised, I am going to review this wonderful purse that I’ve been using a lot lately. This is probably one of my most favorite purses of all time due to the functionality of the design and the sleekness of the style. The Polène Number Seven in mini or commonly known as Numero Sept mini, is the bag I’m talking about. This may not be very quite known to the general public, but this bag has its admiration in the blogosphere. I love that this bag is unassuming yet classic in cut and design. This can be carried anywhere on any occasion and in any location while maintaining that semi-formal or somewhat dressy vibe. In other words, this bag can elevate your look and style, no matter what you wear.

Polène Paris Number Seven Numero Sept Mini

This Polène Number Seven is hand-made in Spain (in fact, I got mine straight from Sevilla) and has a golden chain. Mine came in grey textured leather and with suede inner lining. The dimension is about 6.3 inches in height, 6.5 inches in width, and can be expandable up to 4 inches in depth. The shoulder drop is about 18 inches and is non-adjustable. This bag can be worn crossbody or as a top handle. The weight is not too heavy and not too light and can definitely fit several things. On top of that, the design is not inundated with logos, and the price is what I would call “reasonable”.

Curious about what can fit inside this bag? See below

Louis Vuitton Key Pouch – This can go perfectly inside the Polène Numero Sept in mini. Mine contains my car keys and my home alarm remote.

Shiseido Modern Matte Lipstick in Semi-Nude – One of my favorite matte lipsticks of all time. I am still obsessed with the Semi-Nude shade and find out why in this link.

Clarins Water Lip Stain – Just reviewed this amazing and truly staining lip stain. This is a perfect lip product for this pandemic-induced virtual world. Swatched HERE.

iPhone X – My lifeline, lol.

Rare Beauty Blotting Sheets – I like the size of these blotting sheets. These are tiny and can definitely fit inside all types of mini purses, especially the Polène Number Seven. Read my first impressions of some of Rare Beauty’s products HERE.

YSL Card Cases – I must admit, I have a serious obsession with these YSL card cases. I don’t think I can ever look at other card cases again after owning these. I find the quality of these card cases to be exceptional and totally durable. Also, the design is very cute and very elegant.

Parker Jotter Pens – My favorite pen since 12th grade. I love the Parker pens because they are reliable, and they make my handwriting not look like chicken scratches, hahaha.

Curried Myrrh Hildie Reusable Face Mask – I wanted a mask that will make me look like Karasu in Ghost Fighter (lol, those were the days, and yes, I’m a big fan of Ghost Fighter too), but I also wanted a reversible and reusable face mask. I stumbled on this eclectic face mask from Curried Myrrh, and I love the design. It’s like bohemian meets Victorian. The brand has several different styles and colors. You can check them out HERE. This mask is foldable, and the ear loops are adjustable, which can fit perfectly well in the Polène Numero Sept mini.

Cat – not available, and nope, he doesn’t fit in this mini purse, but he wants to bite it, lol.

Bottom line, I love this Polène Number Seven/Numero Sept mini. The leather is robust, and the style is simple yet sleek. I carry this purse everywhere, and I also call this as my “field notes” purse because of the functionality. Therefore, I highly recommend this to all of you. You can check this bag at polè

Natasha Denona Love Glow Cheek + Mini Zendo Eyeshadow Palette Review + Swatches

natasha denona bloom blush glow palette, love glow palette, mini zendo

Valentines is just a few weeks away. I have a feeling that I’ll decorate my shelves with a ton of pink :-). When it comes to pink stuff, I love looking at my Natasha Denona Blush palettes. I’ve been loving a few of them this year, even though it’s been quite a long time since I’ve worn full-face makeup. I’ve been focusing mostly on eye makeup with a bit of blush, and of course – some lip balms. You can see my latest lip balm picks here.

The Natasha Denona cheek palettes are some of the best I’ve tried so far. They are well-pigmented, and they give that glassy luminous cheek look.

Love Glow Cheek Palette – This pretty in pink palette spells Valentine’s day at first sight. The packaging has a glittery snow globe front cover. Upon opening, the entire compact will remind you of the Natasha Denona Bloom Cheek palette that everyone loves, except for the fact that this has different shades. Like the Bloom palette, the two shades at the top are still the creamiest ones, but all four shades – including the glittery ones – feel very creamy compared to other blush palettes. I like this palette a lot, which feels more like an updated and toned-down version of the Bloom palette. However, nothing compares to the original. The shades in this palette tend to pull as medium-cool pink on my skin tone. So, I think this will be great for daily use.

This palette has a mini version containing the bottom two shades.

Bloom Cheek Palette – This palette is still, hands down, my favorite compared to the Love Glow palette. I really like the apricot-ish, glowy, peachy, and dolly-cheek look the shades give. There’s nothing quite like this palette in the market nowadays. The shades may look too red or too pigmented at a glance but fear not because the shades can be used at different intensities. I believe this still gets the upper hand when compared to the Love Palette.

This palette has a mini version, and it contains the upper left shade only.

Mini Zendo Eyeshadow Palette – This small palette can give you two, three, or even more eye makeup look because the shades are so versatile. You can create an earthy, metallic, or a nice eclectic eye makeup look with this and still look otherworldly gorgeous . I like this palette a lot, and it’s the type that you can easily carry anywhere, especially when the situation calls you to be glam in a minute.

If you’re looking to pamper yourself this coming Valentine’s day, you will most probably love any of these palettes. I highly recommend them, and if you haven’t tried any Natasha Denona products ever, oh well, you really should :-).

P.S. If you’re wondering about the Tom Ford candle and would like to know if the scent is really that fabulous, the short answer is yes; it does smell so fabulous to me :-).

*Bag is from Polene Paris in Number Seven – gray textured leather. I like it a lot and will do a sole review of it soon.
