Bite Multistick Review And Swatches

bite beauty multistick reviews and swatches

Hi There! I’ve been arranging and sorting my makeup lately in order to have some Fall-ready colors. I know we’re still in the Summer, but I like to get my cosmetics organized ahead of time and ready for the next season. One of my favorite multitasking makeup products is the Bite Beauty Multistick (0.17 oz: $24) which I tend to use during the Fall and also when I’m traveling. I like this product a lot since I could find some nice range of deep colors with muted tones like mauves, terracottas, and mahoganies. These colors suit my skin tone well especially during the Fall and even throughout the Winter season.

From where I live, Fall can be short and the temperature fluctuates a lot. It also gets really gloomy, so a dark lip color or a very pigmented makeup will really suit with this kind of season. The Bite Multistick is a great multitasking product that you can use as a lipstick, a cheek stain, and as a color for the lids. It’s great for doing a monochromatic makeup look which has been a trend lately, especially this last Spring. For me, I also like doing the monochromatic look even during the Fall, and using a multitasking makeup product like this Multistick saves me a lot of time whenever I’m in a hurry to apply my makeup. And mind you, a monochromatic makeup doesn’t look bad at all. Just don’t overdo it.

Anyway, the Bite Multistick is kinda like Nars’ The Multiple (0.50 oz: $39) but it’s smaller of course and it’s so easy to add to your traveling essentials or to your purse. The packaging has a velvety feel and with a magnetic cap. The shades are very pigmented and staining. There is a slight fruity lemon scent and the formula feels powdery and creamy at the same time. I have collected five colors already and I’m still looking forward to expanding my collection soon.

Papaya – coral with rose

Cashew – rose taupe, appears medium nude to me

Biscotti – deep muted mauve

Brioche – rich terracotta, lighter version of Almond

Almond – rich mahogany, the darkest of all the five colors here

As you can see on the swatches, Cashew is the lightest and Almond is the darkest. Papaya is great for Spring and Summer, and I’m a big fan of Biscotti and Brioche. All colors don’t smudge easily and they don’t feather. The pigment is superb so you need to go easy on your application. The only drawback that I noticed with this Bite Multistick is that it can be drying at first swipes but it’ll warm up once it gets in contact with the skin after a few seconds. I suggest that you swipe or dab the colors first at the back of your hand so that it gets warm and creamy, then you can smudge it on your lips, cheeks, and lids. You don’t need to apply a lot. Just a hint of color will be enough.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this versatile Bite Beauty product either for a quick touch-up or when you’re on the go. It’ll give a nice color and flush to the face. Also, you gotta try that monochromatic look from time to time.

The Bite Beauty Multistick is currently available at Sephora and JCPenney.

Samples of The Week: Clinique, Boscia, Bite Beauty, Kate Somerville, Lancome, Miu Miu & Tarte

Happy Friday guys! It’s about time to wrap up some samples and share my first impressions about them. This week, I picked a mini lipstick, a sample of some clay foundations, a hybrid makeup remover, a few basic moisturizers, and a very interesting scent.

Shall we begin?

Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate

Lancome BI-FACIL Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover (1.7 oz: $15, 4.2 oz: $30, 6.7 oz: $39) – One of the best eye makeup removers I’ve ever tried. It erases my liner like a breeze and there’s not a single sting. I even use it on my face and it saves me a lot of time and effort. It’s also not sticky and it comes in different sizes.

Boscia Charcoal MakeUp Melter Cleansing Oil-Balm (3 oz: $32) – This is a blend of charcoal and oil/balm cleanser that you have to apply on your makeup face and massage it all over to get rid of makeup. It has a strong lavender scent, much like the Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser. This product becomes foamy and it really removes all your makeup but you’re going to need a spatula (provided if purchasing the full size) in order to scoop the balm. It’s pretty thick and a bit sticky, my fingers had a hard time grabbing the product. Other than that, this is a good alternative to traditional facial cleansers and makeup removers since this product combines the two.

Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate (0.5 oz: $13.50, 1.6 oz: $39) – This a lightweight gel serum or moisturizer with spheres of antioxidants. It has no distinct scent but it hydrates very well. It’s a great hydrator for the summer and my skin absorbs this quickly. Just like most Clinique serums and moisturizers, you can never go wrong with this.

Miu Miu Eau de Parfum (Travel size/0.33 oz: $28, 1 oz: $68, 1.7 oz: $90,ย 3.4 oz: $118) – A fresh floral scent that will surely catch your attention. I thought this was gonna be more of a sweet scent, but this is actually fresh and delightful, like a blend of something earthy and green with a bit of jasmine. It’s also very long lasting and not boring.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation Spf 15 review swatches

Bite Beauty Multistick (0.17 oz: $24) – Reviewed the papaya shade thoroughly before, found HERE. This is one of the best multi-taskers I’ve ever tried. Almost all the shades from this collection are all good and wearable. It has a velvety texture upon application, and it glides well on the lids, on the cheeks as a blush, and as a lip color. They’re pretty easy to blend and they’re also well-pigmented. The effect is a matte monochromatic trend. I love this.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation Spf 15 (1.7 oz: $39) – A natural to mattifying finish full-coverage foundation that’s vegan and oil-free. This foundation really covered my redness and blemishes and it’s pretty long-wearing. It feels whipped but lightweight, and it blends into the skin well. I noticed a bit of pilling but they’re blendable and I love that it comes with an added Spf. My face looks flawless with this.

Lancome Energie de Vie Smoothing & Plumping Water-Infused Cream

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream (1 oz: $50, 1.7 oz: $65) – This feels like a gentle moisturizer that’s great for sensitive skin or even in any skin type. It has almost no scent but it hydrates the skin well and it’s also very lightweight. There’s a soothing feel to this and it hydrates some dry patches on the face.ย

Lancome Energie de Vie Smoothing & Plumping Water-Infused Cream (1.7 oz: $55) – Another water-infused cream that smells fresh and slightly like citronella. My skin absorbed this lightweight moisturizer immediately and it does have a plumping effect. Overall, this non-greasy cream hydrates the skin excellently and my skin felt soft after using this. The whole Energie de Vie line seems like a very interesting line to try.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Beetroot (0.15 oz: $26) – Love this deep berry shade. I’m sure we’re all familiar with this lipstick. This line up has one of the boldest well-pigmented lipsticks ever. It’s extremely creamy and buttery soft, and while it does transfer a lot, the pigment stays put on the lips for a long time. I love that it’s made of au-naturel ingredients and the citrusy flavor is a delight. As to how it compares to the newly-released Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick? stay tuned, because a review of that particular lineup will be coming soon.

Verdict, I almost love all the samples I’ve tried, but if I have to narrow it down, I think I like the ease of using Lancome BI-FACIL Eye Makeup Remover, the scent of Miu Miu Eau de Parfum, the range of shades from Bite Beauty Multistick and Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation, the high-impact colors of Bite’s Amuse Bouche Lipstick and the hydrating effect of Lancome Energie de Vie Water-Infused Cream.

Have you had samples of these too? Which ones did you like?

Bite Beauty Multistick Review

bite beauty multistick papaya review

Hi Friends! If you’re a fan of multipurpose makeup products, well, I have this wonderful makeup product to review for ya. It’s the Bite Beauty Multistick in Papaya shade. This is like The Nars Multiple but with even more shades to choose from.ย

This multipurpose stick is meant to be used as a single color for lips, eyeshadows and cheeks. Each and every color available of this Bite Beauty Multistick is meant to be universally flattering to the skin tone. So don’t worry, you won’t look like a clown. Also, the shades are blendable and buildable, and it also has a nice pigment to it.ย

I spent a long time in Sephora just trying to swatch and choose which ones I’m gonna take home with me. I was so torn between the Mascarpone shade and the Papaya, I guess because they kinda look sorta the same. Ultimately, I ended up with Papaya. I like its blend of fresh coral and rose shade a lot.

Ain’t that pretty? I love the powdery-creamy texture of this Multistick a lot, and it’s long lasting too. I was a bit worried of looking too coral-ish all over my face that I might start to look like a salmon, LOL, but I did not. The effect is actually pretty and cute.ย

I admit that I don’t really own a lot of multipurpose beauty products, for fear that I might look too one dimensional, and I also thought that they may not really work, but hey, with the Nars Multiple and this Bite Beauty Multistick, well, you can’t go wrong. These are really great and efficient beauty products for beauty lovers who are always on the go. Saves you time, money and effort. A great product to have specially when you’re traveling. Additionally, the packaging also feels velvety smooth to the touch and it has a magnetic cap. Great effort Bite Beauty.

So, it this a Yay or a Nay? It’s definitely a Yay. Either you have the Nars Multiple or this Bite Beauty Multistick, it’s good to keep a few colors for whenever time constraint might be an issue in applying your makeup.

Happy Weekend All!
