Samaya Kapha Eye Cream Review

Hello. Here is a quick eye cream review that I have been enjoying these days. The Samaya Kapha Eye Cream is the latest eye cream to hit my vanity counter, and I am happy to report that it works very well after weeks of trying it on my undereyes. It is one of the newest additions to the Samaya Ayurvedic all-natural skincare line that is based on an individual’s dosha (energy).

Prior to using the Samaya Eye Cream, I have been experimenting again on a couple of eye creams that I mostly used on rotation. I can say that I liked a few, but none of them really impressed me. As I was thinking of going back to my old favorites, I had the opportunity to try the Samaya Kapha Eye Cream, which I call a perfect natural undereye moisturizer. The feel of the eye cream is not like most eye creams which moisturize the undereye skin for only a few minutes until the skin becomes dry again. The Samaya Kapha Eye Cream is different and unique in its consistency because the texture has the perfect blend of fluidness and creaminess. It feels a tad slippery and somewhat creamy at the same time, making it very easy to spread all over the undereyes. This type of consistency keeps the undereye skin moisturized for a long time. The formula does set on the skin right away, but it does not make the skin feel rough. Further, the formula does not pill and is easy to blend with concealers and foundations.

Since the product is all-natural and made of clean ingredients, there is no discerning scent, and my skin did not get irritated from the product. Most importantly, the product comes in an easy-to-dispense pump, and the size is considerably large for an eye cream. For me, that is a big plus, given that I tend to use eye cream products at least twice a day. The Samaya Kapha Eye Cream has caffeine, green tea, and probiotics, among others, aiming to reduce puffy and tired undereyes. Indeed, my undereyes look more revitalized and less puffy as I continue to use the product.

Overall, the Samaya Kapha Eye Cream is another outstanding all-natural clean skincare from Samaya Ayurveda. Just like their moisturizers, cleansers, treatments, and exfoliants, I highly recommend their line of eye creams, especially the Kapha Eye Cream.

Samaya Kapha Supplement Review

Hi friends! This is Day 6 of Pandemic Blogging here. A lot has happened lately but I hope we are all doing fine and are holding on. It’s times like these where we learn more about ourselves and about each other, and that the true measure of the strength of our characters lie in how we hold onto hope and the courage to face our challenges. So, let us all be strong, be hopeful, and be courageous.

Now is the time that we take good care of our own health so we can be as healthy as we can be and for our loved ones as well. There are a lot of things we can do. First, we really need to practice social distancing. We may not be sick but it doesn’t mean that we’re not incubating the v because we haven’t been tested at all. So, if we’re not careful, we can put our elderlies at risk. Also, even if you’re young, you can still get the v and the symptoms vary a lot for everybody. Some had had it mild while some experienced the opposite, but mind you, it’s never easy when you’re sick. So better be on the safe side, right? Apart from social distancing, we can also keep our bodies healthy, and that includes keeping up with our exercises or to simply keep moving. We may be working from home now, but it’s still important to get some fresh air (walk around the house/yard) or do our stretches so we can keep our circulations going.

Another thing I like to do lately is to take my vitamins and supplements. Sometimes I used to skip this but lately, I try to make sure that I take them diligently. So, if you have some Vitamin C or any Multivitamins at home, please take them. They could potentially boost your immune system. However, times are hard nowadays and you may not be able to get your hands on any vitamins or supplements, not to mention being wary about going to your local grocery store, but it’s ok. As long as you try to keep yourself healthy by eating a more balanced diet, despite the lack of variety or availability of fruits and vegetables we can get nowadays and practice a healthy lifestyle in general, then you won’t be needing any vitamins or supplements at all. The most important thing is that you are safe and you are well.

For me personally, I’ve been liking the supplements from Samaya Ayurveda. I reviewed this brand before (here and here) and I really like their natural Ayurvedic products because they are clean, vegan, kosher, non-GMO, and cruelty-free. As someone whose Dosha (bodily energy in Ayurvedic medicine) belongs to the Kapha range, I had a chance to try Samaya’s Kapha Supplements (60 capsules: £39) which contain a blend of Ayurvedic herbs, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, CoQ10, Turmeric, Gotu Kola, Aloe Vera, and Ginger among other things. These ingredients help to promote energy, metabolism, skin collagen formation, tissue repair, and immunity support, as well as it helps in balancing oily skin which a lot of Kapha people like me tend to experience. I love that this supplement is made of natural ingredients and this doesn’t irritate my stomach. Also, this has no aftertaste and I haven’t experienced any side-effects. I’ve been taking this for a couple of weeks now and this helps in improving my energy level and this also helps with my skin. I start to notice a more subtle glow and I will keep taking this to see if this improves my skin’s elasticity as well. I also like that this has the essential vitamins needed for strong immunity which is beneficial nowadays. Apart from the healthy ingredients that this supplement has, I also like its sleek packaging which comes in a beautiful matte jar and is safe and easy to store anywhere. Overall, I recommend that you take a look at this au-naturel supplement and hope you enjoy it as much I do.

Samaya Skincare Kapha Hydrating Cleanser & Anti-Ageing Cream Review

Hey guys. A few months ago, I talked about one of my favorite skincare finds that caters to natural and clean ingredients – the Samaya Skincare. Apart from creating products that blend the benefit of nature, they’re also based on Ayurvedic principles. You can read more about their background and skincare principles in my previous review HERE. In that review, I mentioned that my Dosha and overall skin constitution totally belongs to the Kapha range. The products in the Kapha range mostly have a nice soothing earthy scent and they work really well in restoring the natural balance of my skin. Recently, I had a chance to try the Kapha Anti-Ageing Cream and the Hydrating Cleanser. Here are my thoughts.

Kapha Anti-Ageing Cream (50 ml: £89) – This moisturizer has a lightweight feel with a soothing earthy scent. It feels very spa-like and it goes on creamy. The packaging is in a thick glass and it’s very easy to use. I love that my skin absorbs this easily and it leaves no sticky residue nor any whitish film. I don’t find the scent obtrusive at all and it’s actually quite relaxing. For my oily-prone skin, this works really well in maintaining its moisture and it doesn’t exacerbate the oiliness. For me, this is just what I need as a perfect everyday moisturizer because its consistency feels just right, that is, not too thick and not too thin. On top of that, it really makes my skin supple to the touch. Some of its main ingredients are Aloe Leaf Extract, Vitamin E, Ashwagandha Root Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, and Sandalwood Oil to mention a few.

Kapha Hydrating Cleanser (100 ml: £70.80) – The first thing that came to mind when I first tried this cleanser was how hydrating this cleanser felt. It is probably one of the most moisturizing and creamiest cleansers I’ve ever tried, and it’s just what I needed from a skin-drying long-hour flight. My skin suffers from blotchiness and dry spots whenever I’m on the plane too long, and also when I’m adjusting to my destination’s climate, air quality, and weather/temperature. It’s often during these times that I think a nice creamy cleanser will do the job in bringing back hydration to my skin. Oh well, thank goodness I think I now have a creamy cleanser to love. This Samaya Kapha Hydrating Cleanser will not only be good for my long-haul flights, but I can also see a lot of usage of this product in the coming Winter when my skin will get very dry. Additionally, this cleanser gently removes makeup and it works for sensitive or even oily skin, but if you tend to have dry skin, then this product is definitely meant for you.

This creamy cleanser comes in a tall, slim, heavy, glass bottle and its pump has been recently redesigned. In this review, I received the old pump design but I never really had a dispensing issue from it. Some of its ingredients are Turmeric Root Oil (Anti-inflammatory/Antioxidant), Saccharide Isomerate (lasting hydration), Gotu Koala Oil (stimulates collagen production), Sandalwood Oil (softening) and so much more.

Overall, these two all-natural Ayurvedic products from the Samaya Kapha range of skincare are very well-done and they both deserve to be a staple in everyone’s daily skincare routine simply because they truly deliver and their ingredients are fab.
