If you’re a fan of color correcting beauty products, then chances are, you probably already know this product that I’m about to review or maybe you’re already planning to try this pretty soon. This magical K beauty favorite known as the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment is a breakthrough product that works like a charm. This one of a kind color-correcting cream works as an all-in-one product, be it as a foundation, a color-correcting cream, a bb or cc cream, a tinted primer, or simply as a lightweight moisturizer with added SPF.

It’s hard to describe what this cream really is because this works like “the cream to end all creams.” This is marketed as a color-correcting product that is green to beige and this is supposed to correct redness, even the skin tone, and hide blemishes. While this does a lot of stuff, this cream, though it looks very light green, actually transforms into a beige color upon contact with the skin, thus making it smooth looking and bright. No worries, this actually doesn’t leave a green cast on the face, instead, this simply neutralizes redness and makes the face look more awake.

That is because Tiger Grass is believed to promote wound healing on the skin.

This Cicapair color-correcting treatment from Dr. Jart+ is a must-have for the days when you don’t have time to do a full makeup routine. Sometimes putting a primer and foundation, then setting it, plus contouring and baking it, then adding some strobing in it can be a real pain in the neck. So when you need to evacuate out of your house fast, you’re going to need this cream. This will save you time and will hide the trace of life’s stresses away from your face. On top of that, this will work to heal your face and prevent it from going rogue over time.

Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask Extreme De-Tox Hydrator

What’s Up Dears! I recently discovered an exciting face mask that’s so meant for this summer, and it’s all about them good ol’ cucumbers. As we all know, cucumbers not only depuff the skin, but they also soothe irritated skin. They even hydrate and has anti-aging properties. Well, lucky us, there’s a new cucumber face mask in town, it’s the Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask Extreme Detoxifying Hydrator. Such a long name right? Let’s just call it, the PTR Cucumber Gel Mask for short.

This Cucumber Gel Mask is an exciting must have specially in this warming temps where most of us would want to frolic on the beach or to better yet spend some time on waxing centers before showing off that hard-earned beach bod. That’s because this PTR Cucumber Gel Mask helps soothes sunburned skin, reduces redness, and soothes irritations. You can even use it right after major sun exposure even if there’s no sunburn noticed. It has a cooling feel to it which calms and soothes the skin and pores that’s been waxed or peeled.

Apart from the soothing effect, this Cucumber Mask reduces puffy undereyes and dark circles. No more raccoon eyes. Ha! This definitely helps to not make you look stressed out for sure, thus, making you look well-rested for the day. It’s very gentle and refreshing with ingredients like: cucumber, papaya, chamomile, pineapple, lemon and aloe to name a few. I love how it feels on the face, and the gel formulation feels already cool even without refrigerating the mask. The instruction says to put the product inside the refrigerator for a very cool treatment, which is what I’ve been doing lately and it feels really really good.

This mask is ideal for any skin types even for sensitive skin. Just apply a coat on a clean skin and leave it on for 10 minutes. I like to leave it on for 5 minutes more actually, and then rinse with cool water. If you have very dry skin, you can leave the product overnight or use it more often during the week. It’s a mild and soothing product, so you can even use it daily.

If I have to rate this PTR Cucumber Gel Mask on a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being a meh and 5 being awesome, I’d say that this mask deserves a 4.5. It may not be a treatment mask that solves it all, but I like its wellness effect on the skin. It restores hydration and prevents my skin from having dry patches. Also, this soothes the redness of my cheeks and depuffs my puffy lids. I love the fresh cucumber-chamomile scent and the relaxing and enjoyable feeling that this mask brings.

Tatcha Bestsellers Set Review

Why Hello There! If you’re looking for the perfect skincare set this Mother’s Day or in any other occasion, I truly recommend this limited edition Tatcha Bestsellers Set. All the products contained in this set are absolutely perfect and are also very useful for traveling.

Tatcha is an American luxury brand that promotes Geisha (Japanese) inspired beauty rituals or beauty products. This is my first time trying out Tatcha’s skin care and my first impressions are very positive. The products are generally mild and innovative. The scents are not overpowering and my skin seems to like their products quite well. Additionally, it has a whole k-beauty feel and quality to it and pretty much neck in neck with Sulwhasoo or SK II. Also, their pricing varies a lot depending on the size of the product. Some are pretty much affordable, while some can be just really pricey. It’s always good to try some starter sizes to see if the product works for you.

Let’s take a look at what’s inside their Bestsellers Set:

Pure One Step Camillia Cleansing Oil (0.8 oz: $15, 5.1 oz $48) – This is a mild makeup remover and facial cleanser at the same time. It’s basically a lightweight camellia oil that totally removes all traces of makeup. Then you add some water to create a foam and it cleanses your face just like a normal facial cleanser would do. It’s basically like double cleansing but with just one product. For me, I really enjoy using this. It saves time and effort on my skin care routine and it’s mild for daily use. Love the pump of the glass container as well.

Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder (0.35 oz: $15, 2.1 oz $65) – This product is nothing like I’ve seen before. It’s almost magical. It comes off as a plain white powder that you put on your palm and as soon as you add a few drops of water on it, it becomes a foamy scrub that smells and feels like little bits of rice or rice water. It exfoliates the face mildly and it doesn’t irritate. The result is a smooth skin without the harshness of most facial scrubs. Love it.

Supple Moisture Rich Silk Cream (1.7 oz: $120) – This is a gel-like cream that feels like silk and is also non-irritating on the skin. It’s ideal for combo to dry skin, but I think it’s also very perfect for oily skin due to its gel consistency. In fact, this is very similar to Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb, both in scent and texture. It’s almost hard to tell the difference between the two. This silk cream is an ideal moisturizer base right before any makeup product and it feels very lightweight. Wish it had Spf though.

Luminous Dewy Skin Mist (1.35 oz: $48) – Probably the best face mist in the market to use during dry or winter season. It’s slightly oily so it’s ideal when you need maximum hydration on the face, like when you’re traveling or during the cold months. It may be too much for the summer as the effect of this face mist could make you look very dewy. The pump feels robust and it releases very fine mists. Also, the scent is divine.

Verdict: Tatcha makes award-worthy products and they’re really fun to use with. Every application of each product is an experience that is worth your time and has a very relaxing feel to it. Their Bestsellers Set is really worth it as each product delivers and their sizes are very versatile. The Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is definitely a holy grail for me, and I could see the Camellia Cleansing Oil and Rice Enzyme Powder as now part of my daily skin care routine for a very long time.
