Hi There. I must have jumped for joy when I found out that Charlotte Tilbury is now being carried by Sephora. That sure is very convenient for a lot of us who adore Charlotte Tilbury Makeup. So for today’s review, let’s talk about some of my favorites from this cosmetic brand. I don’t always use a lot of Charlotte Tilbury products but there are some that I really like in terms of formula and shades. Lately, there’s one Charlotte Tilbury product that I’m crazy about and I will tell you later in this review.
First up, I love the shades of the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick (0.12 oz: $34) even though I’m not really a fan of the formula, which is kind of a comfortable matte, true, but it doesn’t really last on me. However, the shades are just stunning and are really wearable with regards to my skin tone. I love the shade Pillow Talk, which is a perfect nude pink for me and is also probably a perfect universal nude shade for everyone. I also repurchased Bond Girl, which is a beautiful muted red-berry brown, and Very Victoria, which is a nude taupe. See the swatches of these two HERE. Even though the Matte Revolution Lipsticks’ formulation is a miss for me, the K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick (0.12 oz: $34) is another story. I just love how easy this lipstick glides on my lips and it’s so comfortable and hydrating. On top of that, it stays long enough on me. I bought the Stoned Rose shade which appears as a light spice rose on my pigmented lips.
The Lip Cheat Liner (0.04 oz: $22) is one of my true favorites from Charlotte Tilbury. This lip liner feels rich, creamy and velvety upon application and it sets well on the lips without budging. The shade Pillowtalk works well with almost any lipsticks.
My favorite matte lipsticks from Charlotte Tilbury in terms of the formulation is their Hollywood Lips Liquid Lipstick (0.24 oz: $34). Swatches of Dangerous Liaison and Show Girl are HERE. This matte liquid lipstick is thick and creamy and it doesn’t dry the lips, though it may take a while to set. Also, it’s super pigmented so it lasts a long time.
The one that I’ve been loving lately is the newest Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter in 3 Light/Medium (1 oz: $44). Love this product so much. It’s described as a complexion booster that is slightly tinted and has some glow that can be used as a primer, a highlighter or can be mixed with your favorite foundation. I can definitely see this as a good primer but not as a highlighter for me since the glow is very subtle, but it’s enough to give you a nice lit-from-within look. I usually use this to mix with my favorite foundation so my face won’t look flat, and the effect just makes my face look youthful and subtly glowy. I highly recommend this.
Have you tried these beauties already?
