This post is all about us K-beauty fanatics. The latest to hit my desk are the gorgeous items from Heimish. Have you heard of Heimish before? If you have not, then you must read this review in detail because I have found another holy grail recs for you.
Artless Perfect Cushion SPF50+ ($34) โ Cushions are still my thing. In fact, I was on the market lately looking for another cushion foundation that not only could match my skintone very well but could also work with my skin chemistry. Luckily, I found this foundation which works really well for my oily-type skin without provoking any breakouts and with the added benefit of protecting my skin from the sun. This cushion adds a glowy and dewy glow but does not give you that overly glowy oily-slick look. It just really keeps the moisture locked in the skin, and it is very lightweight. Take note that one of the ingredients in this cushion is hyaluronic acid, which gives a skin-moisturizing benefit. The coverage is between natural and full, which means that it covers enough redness, breakouts, and dark spots. Overall, the product is dermatologist-tested and cruelty-free.
In this review, I have the shade 23 (natural beige), which matched my complexion very well. If you ask me if this cushion is now on my holy grail list of cushion foundations, I can definitely say yes.
Dailism Liquid Lipstick in Burning Rose ($15) โ My first impression of this liquid lipstick is its unique nostalgia-inducing fruity scent. I really like the creamy whipped texture of this, which adheres well on the lips, giving it a soft matte full look. The coverage is full, and the pigment is superb. However, after a couple of hours of use, I find this lipstick to be somewhat drying. So I had to reapply a couple of times. Also, with constant use, I recommend that the best way to use this lipstick is to smudge this on the lips, to get that gradient-lip look. I also wish these come in several different shades.
Dailism Smudge Eye Palette Nudie Rose ($30) โ This is such a great everyday eyeshadow palette with a very good color range, excellent texture, and reliable adherence. The shades may look basic, natural, and toned down at a glance, but they are totally buildable. Blending is easy with this palette, and there are almost zero fallouts noticed. There is a variety of nude coral beige shades and neutral pinks and a versatile earthy tone. The shades vary from matte, and shimmery, to glittery. The mattes are good as a base eyeshadow or even as an eyebrow enhancer. The shimmers and glitters are good to highlight the lids, or even as an overall face highlighter. I just love this versatile palette. Therefore, it is going straight to my holy grail list.
In summary, Heimish makeup impressed me with its good quality products. I highly recommend that you try any of their items, especially the ones I featured in this review.
