Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Mist Review

Are you a fan of face mists? Oh I know I am. Before, I didnโ€™t really see the use of them and had been wondering why one would need such. But thereโ€™s a lot to love about face mists and I am an eternal convert to them.

Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Mist Review

In the past, the only face mist Iโ€™ve ever tried was Urban Decayโ€™s All Nighter Setting Spray, which Iโ€™m still using right now as my favorite makeup setting spray of all time. Iโ€™m in love with that setting spray, and it does set my makeup to last for hours, but there were times when I needed to use something to refresh my skin in the middle of the day, or to make it glowy. I also wanted something to keep my face hydrated during long haul flights, which can really suck the life out of your skin. Iโ€™ve tested several face mists a couple of times lately, and itโ€™s true that not all face mists are created equal. Some are meant as primers, while some are meant to be used only during dry seasons, while there are also some that are only meant to refresh and hydrate skin.

As someone with a somewhat oily skin, I still use a face mist regularly to make my skin look fresh and slightly dewy. Thereโ€™s a couple of face mists that I like during my tests, and they will be slowly reviewed here in the blog. For now, my go to, every day, all around face mist is the Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist. I know, the packaging is SO cute and thereโ€™s substantial product in its decent-sized container. Thereโ€™s two kinds of this particular face mist; The Sleek Mist (absorbs excess oil) and The Moist Mist (provides lasting hydration). I have the Sleek Mist, which suits my skin better.

The Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist not only absorbs and controls oils, but it also hydrates, evens out powder foundations, non-drying, and sets the makeup as well. It has a nice and relaxing baby powder scent to it. It is also formulated with antioxidants and hydrating ingredients to keep the skin light, fresh and never greasy. The only downside is that you may need to apply this often as it tends to dissolve or evaporate fairly easily, specially during cold or dry seasons. Also, the bunny cap may not be secure enough to cover the spray nozzle with time, which luckily hasnโ€™t happened to me yet, although I know some people who complained about it. On the other hand, another great thing about this face mist is its price. It is priced well at $15 for 60 ml. Itโ€™s not very pocket size, but itโ€™s great enough to be a travel size. Also, itโ€™s a K-beauty staple. I mean, who couldnโ€™t resist admiring K-beauty brands and products?

Coola Sport Continuous Spray Spf 30 Review

Hello Sunshine! Iโ€™ve been testing out this scented spray sunscreen from Coola and Iโ€™ve been really enjoying it in this warming weather. Finally! A sunscreen that smells good, non-sticky and water-resistant for up to 40 minutes. With broad-spectrum Spf 30 and with certified organic ingredients plus some anti-aging benefits. Who couldnโ€™t love a sunscreen like this?

Coola Sport Continuous Spray Spf 30 Review

If youโ€™re the type that doesnโ€™t like the smell of most sunscreens, well, I can definitely say that Coolaโ€™s spray-on sunscreens are the kind that you should be looking for. It comes in several different scents, like; Citrus Mimosa, Fresh Cucumber, Piรฑa Colada, Guava Mango, and Tropical Coconut. Mine is the Citrus Mimosa scent, which is a light lemon scent that is not overwhelming. Coola also sells the Unscented version of this spray-on sunscreen for those who like their sunblocks plain and simple.

Coola Sport Continuous Spray Spf 30 Review

I love the spray-on style of this sunscreen and its overall packaging. Itโ€™s neat to apply sunscreens like this and the spay container distributes the product evenly on the skin. The packaging allows the spray nozzle to be locked after using it to prevent accidental spraying. The sunscreen comes in 2 sizes, the hefty Eco-Lux 8 oz Size at $36, and the travel size at 3 oz for $20. When it comes to this sunscreenโ€™s formulation, worry not, because this isnโ€™t like most sunscreens, the Coola Sport Continuous Spray Spf 30 is non-sticky, lightweight and non-irritating. It doesnโ€™t even peel your precious nail polish like a few sunscreens that do. You can also apply it on your face since itโ€™s basically made of all-natural ingredients.

I think this Coola Sport Continuous Spray is definitely going to be my new fave sunscreen as it has all benefits Iโ€™ve always wanted in a sun care plus thereโ€™s lots of scents to choose from, not to mention its travel size that you can always carry with you anywhere and everywhere.

Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water Review

Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water Review

Hi All! Iโ€™ve been really curious about Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water which is highly-rated by a lot of youtubers and beauty bloggers out there. It seems like a really good, high-end, au-natural face refresher/cleanser and makeup remover. The ingredients are superb and it has a lot of skin care benefits. Itโ€™s basically a fortified micellar water with added ingredients like; white birch sap (anti-aging), xylitol, arginine and herb extracts. Truly spa-like. Itโ€™s great for all skin types, and also for people with sensitive skin and eyes. When it comes to its price, the Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water is priced higher than most micellar waters. The travel size costs $13, while the standard size costs $39.

This Japanese brand micellar water does a good job of getting rid of my makeup at the end of the day, and it cleanses my skin very well, even without washing my face. It definitely takes off every last bit of foundation, blush, bronzer and lipstick out of my skin, and it doesnโ€™t sting or irritate it. Itโ€™s so mild and itโ€™s not drying. It even gets rid of most waterproof makeup products fairly easily, except the highly pigmented eyeliners or the waterproof ones like Marc Jacobs Fineliners and Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliners. It also struggles to remove waterproof mascaras as well. No matter how hard I soak my eyelashes and lids with this Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water in order to soften and remove the eyeliner and mascara, I find that this particular cleansing water is just not enough.

Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water

Iโ€™ve only used one micellar water prior to this KGD Spa Water, and itโ€™s the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water in Blue Shade, which really works very well to remove stubborn waterproof makeups. Comparing the two, thereโ€™s really not much difference that I noticed. The Garnier Micellar Water is a force to reckon with, and it is also mild and non-irritating, just like the Koh Gen Do Spa Water. The only difference are their cleansing capability. The Garnier Micellar Water truly gets rid of any kind of makeup formulations and is also mild for the eyes, while the Koh Gen Do Spa Water is much more expensive and it doesnโ€™t really remove waterproof eye makeups that well. Though I like the container of the Koh Gen Do better because itโ€™s easier to stick a cotton swab in it, I know I will still be reaching for my Garnier pretty soon.

Whatโ€™s your favorite Micellar Water?
