The Sephora Beauty Insider Event is still ongoing and I would like to share my wishlist and recommendations for this Spring 2019 sale. For those who are Rouge Members, you’ll get 20% OFF which already started last April 26 and will last ’till May 6th. VIB Members will get 15% OFF starting today May 2nd until May 6th. BI Members will also get 10%OFF today until the 6th of May. The sale is valid both in-store and online purchases with the code HEYROUGEย (Rouge Members), HEY VIBย (VIB), or HEYINSIDERย (Insider Members).

For this season’s sale, I couldn’t make up my mind completely as to which products I’m interested in. I know I have a folder for my beauty and skincare wishlist but honestly, I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t been quite ready for this sale. Also, I feel like I still need some time to decide which products I really want. Anyhow, I eventually picked up some items from my wishlist folder and I’m sharing them with you guys today. I’m also recommending you some products that I love and have been loving lately in my recs list below. If any product/products will come to my mind before this sale is over, I will update this list and will keep you guys posted.

Here now are some of the items on my wishlist.ย

sephora spring bonus sale 2019 wishlist

1. Lancรดme Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation (1 oz: $47) – I know I’ve used this foundation before and really loved it, but I kinda got distracted with my other foundations lately that I’ve forgotten how good this product is. So, when I got a sample of this a few weeks ago, I then realized that this is such an amazing foundation to have. However, I still don’t quite know which shade of this truly matches my skintone, so I will have to try this in-store.

2. Youth To The People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser (2 oz: $10, 8 oz: $36, 16 oz: $54) – I already tried a sample of this lately and I really loved it. It’s got a nice fresh, light, earthy scent and it doesn’t irritate the skin because it’s made of clean ingredients. It also foams and cleanses well.

3. Ouai Treatment Masque (3.4 oz: $32) – I’ve been obsessed with Ouai haircare lately (read the review HERE) and have been curious about this product, as well as the Finishing Creme ever since loving the Ouai Air Dry Foam which really made my hair soft. I heard good things about this product which also makes the hair smooth and easy to manage. Will definitely be trying this.

4. Tocca Capri Candle (10 oz: $42) – I smelled this at my local Sephora and its light grapefruit melon scent registered to me. It also has a nice Mediterranean scent vibe to it which is really interesting.ย

5. Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette ($44) – I was planning to skip this palette as I’ve been feeling like most Urban Decay palettes haven’t been that pigmented lately. After already trying some other eyeshadow palettes, I felt like there were eyeshadow options out there that could give a nice color payoff to the lids compared to this UD one, especially if you invest in high-end products like the Pat McGrath Bronze Seduction eyeshadow (reviewed HERE), or the Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Palette 5 (swatched HERE). Yet after seeing this particular palette in-store, I thought the color scheme is really beautiful and perfect for this Spring and Summer season. And since I’m a sucker for beautiful neutral eyeshadows, I caved in. Let’s see whether I’ll like this or not. Will keep you posted.

6. Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray (1.6 oz: $11, 5.4 oz: $28) – I have a serious obsession with texturizing hair sprays lately and I’ve heard good things about this product, especially its amazing scent. So we’ll see.

7. Farmacy Honey Butter Beeswax Lip Balm (0.12 oz: $10) – This is the next best thing (if not the same) to the Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm which I absolutely love but it’s too costly for its size. I love this a lot and it lasts a long time compared to the DE one. It’s also very moisturizing while being lightweight and non-sticky at the same time, and it doesn’t cost as much as the DE Lippe Balm. I just purchased several of this to stock in my vanity.

8. Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Triple Detox Shampoo (2 oz: $13, 5.4 oz: $28) – I’ve been looking for an alternative to my Pantene Charcoal Haircare (reviewed HERE) and this caught my eye. I’ve been wondering if this is better than the Pantene ones or not. It’s always a good practice to rid your hair of product buildup at least once a week, so a clarifying shampoo like this would definitely be a good help. I will let you guys know whether this will work for me or not.

9. Milk Make Hydro Grip Primer (0.33 oz: $15, 1.52 oz: $30) – This product got my curiosity, although I’m still not quite sure whether I should change my primer now or not. I do know that I am considering trying a more lightweight primer and I’m wondering if this fits the bill. We shall see.

The products I’m recommending below are some of the items I’ve been loving lately, although, I will be publishing a separate post soon featuring the makeup and skincare products I’ve been loving and using as of the moment, so stay tuned for that. Here now are the ones I recommend to you guys.

sephora spring bonus 2019 sale product recommendations list

1. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips Liquid Lipstick (0.24 oz: $34) – If you want your lips to look full and your lip lines filled, then you’ve got to try this mattifying liquid lipstick (some swatches HERE). I love this product a lot even nowadays and I’m planning to get another shade soon called “Too Bad I’m Bad”. So this is not just a rec item, it’s also part of my wishlist.

2. Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Palette 5 (5 x 0.08 oz: $48) – Love this for the lasting pigment and the versatility of the shades. Try the #2 palette for an everyday warm rosy neutral look. Some other shades were reviewed and swatched HERE

3. SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner (5.4 oz: $76) – Summer’s almost here and there’s a trend to look lit-from-within. This always gives a nice natural radiant glow, and it’s very gentle and very nourishing to the skin. The effect of this toner might take a while, but once it does, you’ll definitely love the skin you’re in.

4. Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Body Builder (2.8 oz: $15, 7.3 oz: $29) – Love this for that mega volume effect on the hair. It works for just about any hair type, and it definitely works for my fine hair. I don’t know what else is in this product but it works wonders and it adds customizable drama to the hair, you just have to twist the nozzle accordingly to your volume preference.

5. Giorgio Armani Neo Nude Fusion Powder (0.12 oz: $58) – This is an absolutely wonderful radiant setting powder, and it sets any type of foundation especially the matte ones so they won’t look so cakey and dry. This gives a nice subtle glow to the skin and can be worn alone or as a setting powder. Read the detailed review HERE.

6. Pat McGrath Labs FetishEyes Mascara (0.27 oz: $28) – This literally gave me a love at first application experience. It truly lengthens and volumizes every lash strand even if you don’t have a lot of lashes to begin with. It gives your eye makeup some drama, definition, and it won’t smudge. This will be featured in my loving right now products soon. So, stay tuned for it.

7. Ouai Air Dry Foam (4 oz: $28) – I raved about this in my previous Ouai Haircare review, seen HERE. This is my most beloved Ouai Haircare product so far, and I love how this softens my hair whenever I air dry it. The scent is light and it really conditions and manages my hair beautifully.

8. Viktor&Rolf Magic Liquid Diamonds (0.30 oz: $34, 2.5 oz: $145) – I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get over the wonderful dreamy scent of this. Some folks say this smells like Clean Fresh Laundry, but I think this is way better than Clean Fresh Laundry, and if this smells like fresh laundry, then this is the best fresh laundry scent I’ve ever sniffed and tried. This has several fresh floral notes that take its scent to a whole different level. Read more about this fragrance HERE.

9. Kate Somerville Anti Bac Clearing Lotion (1.7 oz: $42) – This is still my go-to for acne treatment and prevention, especially when my pimples threaten to wreak havoc on my skin. This has 5% Benzoyl Peroxide which really works to prevent and treat zits, and it doesn’t dry the skin, unlike some other Benzoyl Peroxide creams I’ve tried before. Also, this sets onto the skin immediately and it leaves no sticky residue.

Recommendations

Recommendations For The Sephora Holiday Bonus Beauty Insider Event 2018

  1. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter (1 oz: $44) – This is a perfect add-on for your foundation for that subtle lit-from-within glow. This also can be used as a natural-looking highlight for the cheekbones and other high points of the face. Reviewed further HERE.

  1. Briogeo Rosarco Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant Crรจme (4oz: $24) – This is my current favorite heat protectant product and I love that this is not sticky or greasy and it doesn’t weigh my straight hair down. Also, you only need a pea-sized amount and this lasts a long time.

  1. Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Highlighter (0.4 oz: $48) – A perfect fusion of blush and highlighter in one. This adds a nice flush and glow to the face and it’s multifaceted. Highly recommend this to each and everyone. See the swatches HERE.

  1. Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen (0.03 oz: $58) – This is pretty much the only liquid eyeliner that works for me nowadays and it doesn’t disappoint. This eyeliner delivers, meaning – it doesn’t budge, never smudge, and it stays true black in color.

  1. Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm (Mini 1.7 oz: $22, 3.2 oz: $34) – A makeup remover that smells great and it removes any kinds of makeup. There is nothing quite like this and this washes off easily without any residue. Reviewed further HERE.

  1. Origins GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser (5 oz: $20.50) – One of the best-scented facial cleansers ever hands down, and I love its gentle exfoliation. I look forward to using this cleanser everyday because it’s so invigorating. Read more about this product HERE.

  1. Dior Rouge Dior Ultra Rouge Lipstick ($37) – A satiny matte lipstick that delivers strong pigments and can last for several hours. This lipstick is not only gorgeous on the outside, but its formulation is also impressive and it’s one of the best lipsticks I’ve ever tried this season. See some of the swatches HERE.

  1. Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Face Butter (1.7 oz: $40) – This a buttery smooth moisturizer that is perfect for this skin-drying season. I love how soft the texture of this cream is and my skin absorbs this easily.

  1. Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash (Mini 1.7 oz: $19, Standard 4 oz: $38) – This is my most favorite Kate Somerville facial cleanser and it smells fresh and divine. It is foamy and I love that it has AHA which purifies the pores and this is also gentle enough for everyday use.

  1. Shiseido Modern Matte Powder Lipstick (0.14 oz: $26) – Another favorite matte lipstick of mine this season. I like how light this lipstick feels on the lips and it’s very well-pigmented. Also, this is very long-wearing and the shade range is TDF. See some of the swatches HERE

Wishlist For The Sephora Holiday Bonus Beauty Insider Event 2018

  1. Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Contour Duo (0.56 oz: $68) – I’ve been curious about this since seeing this on Candice Swanepoel’s 10 Minute Guide to Fake Natural Makeup in youtube. It looks like a very beautiful bronzer/highlighter duo and I wanna try it in Fair/Medium.

  1. Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eye Shadow (0.12 oz: $29) – This individual eyeshadow seems very pigmented and creamy. I heard very good things about it and I’m curious as to how it would wear on me. I love how glittery and bold the colors look online.

  1. Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow (0.153 oz: $24) – I already own a few shades of this and I need to collect more. This is an easy to wear liquid eyeshadow that requires a good technique upon application, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll love how easy and nice this looks on the lid and this sets fast but also allows you enough time to blend.

  1. Eve Lom Cleanser (Mini 0.7 oz: $24, also available in several larger sizes) – I’m curious about this particular cleanser and I’ve never tried any Eve Lom skincare products before. Heard it’s very good and lots of people rave about it.

  1. Marc Jacobs O!Mega Glaze All-Over Foil Luminizer (0.35 oz: $49) – This looks like a very stunning and very pigmented highlighter with a very gorgeous packaging. The MJ O!Mega products have been outstanding for me so far.

  1. Pat McGrath Labs Mothership V Eyeshadow Palette in Bronze Seduction ($125) – Out of all the Pat McGrath eyeshadows, this is the one that caught my eye. I find this to be the most cohesive in terms of color scheme, and I believe this is super pigmented. Can’t wait to try it.

  1. Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Palette 5 (5 x 0.08 oz: $48) – I’ve always wanted to try ND’s eyeshadows. They’re so pigmented whenever I swatch them in store, yet I just couldn’t seem to justify the price tag (like Pat McG) but the pigment of these palettes is totally mind-blowing. Not really sure which one I should get though. I’m gearing towards the Camel Palette, Palette #2 and Palette #4.

That comprises my Wishlist and Recommendations for this year’s Sephora Holiday Bonus Beauty Insider Event. Have you ever tried any of these products already? What’s in your Wishlist? Any Recs?

Hope you guys have fun shopping!

It’s always a great idea to take advantage of these sales event in order to try some new releases in beauty and skin care or use them to finally get a discount on some products you’ve been wishing and longing for a long time. With that being said, I have compiled a few items that have been on my wishlist for some time and also some newness in beauty that I would love to try. I will be adding another set of wishlist in the following weeks to come.

Sephora Holiday Bonus Beauty Insider Event 2018 Wishlist

  1. Charlotte Tilbury Stars In Your Eyes Eyeshadow Palette ($75) – This is such a pricey eyeshadow palette with a very beautiful packaging. I would really like to try this because each color seems to be very pigmented and also, I haven’t really tried a Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow before or even own one, so I’m hoping that this would be a keeper.

  1. Beautyblender Sapphire ($20) – Because there is always a reason to buy a Beautyblender especially in every color, LOL. I cannot stress how much of a staple this little sponge is for me and it’s still the most useful tool to apply the foundation seamlessly while looking natural. This newest Sapphire-blue shade is just too beautiful to pass up.

  1. BKR Spiked Tutu Glass Water Bottle (Little, 16 oz: $42) – I’ve been eyeing this beautiful eye-catching water bottle for a long time. I like its edgy, unique and spunky design that is not only cool to carry around, its entire aesthetic is just perfect as a decor, plus it makes you wanna drink more water too, ha! It comes in two sizes, and I like the “little” size which is easy to carry. I know it’s kinda silly to wish for a fancy-looking water bottle because, at the end of the day, it’s just really a water bottle, LOL, but this is just so pretty, and on top of that, it looks like something made for self-defense, LOL.

  1. Kerastase Reflection Sulfate-Free Shampoo for Color-Treated Hair (8.5 oz: $30) – I’ve always wanted to try this particular shampoo from Kerastase. I’m a big fan of Sulfate-free haircare, and this one sparks my curiosity a lot. Also, I’ve heard that this smells really great, and of course, it’s gentle not only for colored hair but also for those who’ve had some treatments done on their mane.

  1. Viktor&Rolf Magic Liquid Diamonds (Mini 0.30 oz: $30, 2.5 oz: $190) – This is my most favorite scent from the newest Viktor&Rolf Magic Collection of Eau de Parfums, reviewed HERE. I love the clean irresistible floral scent of this and I’m dying to have this in full size.

  1. Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette (12 x 0.038 oz: $49) – I’m excited to try this but not quite sure about what to expect of this palette, in other words, this palette is giving me mixed emotions. I’m afraid the shades might be too “bruised” looking for me, but they all look really gorgeous judging from the swatches I’m seeing online. So I’m hoping this would really work for my skin tone.

  1. Giorgio Armani Rouge D’Armani Matte Lipstick (0.14 oz: $38) – Saw this at my local Sephora and I almost bought a few shades, but I’m waiting for this sale. These lipsticks look really pretty and they have a beautiful elegant red and black case. The texture is a very nice matte and the shades are just gorgeous.

  1. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Powder Foundation (0.31 oz: $62) – I’ve heard good things about this pressed powder and since I’m looking for a new pressed powder foundation to love, I’m hoping this would be perfect for me. The reviews of this are really good as well.

  1. Shiseido Modern Matte Powder Lipstick (0.14 oz: $26) – Someone recommended this to me and mentioned that this is such a very good yet understated matte lipstick, and judging from the reviews online, I think I may like this a lot. We’ll see, so far, I really love the shade range.

  1. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Palette ($80) – I’m torn between this palette and the other limited-edition new Ambient Lighting Edit Volume 4 Palette from Hourglass as well. However, I seem to like this Unlocked palette better, at least shade-wise. The Volume 4 Palette looks very much like the Volume 3 which I already have from the last Holiday Season (reviewed HERE). Problem is, this Unlocked Palette is still Sold Out. Hopefully, Sephora will restock this soon before the sale ends.
