Lady Gaga recently revamped her makeup line to welcome the new brand called โHaus Labsโ by Lady Gaga. The updated line is full of fresh takes on clean makeup ingredients and colorful packaging. The products are available through Sephora, and the new Lady G makeup is slowly stacking up the line with lip colors, cheek tints, lip oils, and more to come.
This post is about the Le Monster Lip Crayon. Key points to consider for this particular lip crayon are the following:
Easy applicability (bullet/pencil type application)
Long-wearing pigments
Wearable shades
No strong scents
Comfortable to wear
Non-drying
Not irritating
Similar price points to most Sephora-available lipsticks
Mostly comes in matte finish and one shimmer finish.
See swatches below:
Overall, I highly recommend this lip crayon, and it is one of the best I have tried. It is actually impressive, and kudos to Lady G for a well-done lip product.
Hear ye, Hear ye, ladies and gents! This post is all about the newest Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton II makeup release. This is an exciting collection that many of us have been anticipating since the release of Netflixโs Bridgerton season 2 series.
The first Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton I release was really a hit, and these Bridgerton II beauty products are also comparably spectacular.
In this review, we are going to take a look at the Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton II Eye, Cheek, and Lip Trio.
First off, letโs talk about the packaging. The packaging is so beautiful! Each product is housed inside nostalgia-invoking Victorian-style boxes that are so stunning and unique. Even the lipstick tubes are a step up from the usual PMG lipsticks due to the added golden bow. I also love that the tubes come in either salmon-pink or powder-blueโmy kind of shades
Second, there are several options of products and shades to choose from in this collection, which is a good idea because some of us may choose to mix and match different products and shades of lipstick. The lipstick shade range is amazing because there are ample shades to choose from, and each shade is very wearable for every skin tone. I really like that they are on the nude side with different tones and hues. Some are nude-coral, nude-rose, nude-mauve, etc. Then there are also the bold, appealing shades.
Third, the formula of each product, be it lipstick, eyeshadow, or blusher, is so good. Each is made of very fine soft-milled powders that are almost cream-like. Every blush and eyeshadow application goes smoothly on the cheeks and lids, with no fallouts noticed. Even the microshimmers and glitters are so creamy, and they adhere well to the skin.
Fourth, I am utterly impressed by the pigment. Such vivid pigments that are staining and very long-lasting. The blushes last a long time on the cheeks, and the eyeshadows do not need any primer to hold and stay.
This is definitely one of the unique eyeshadow palettes I own, especially because two of the shades are so different and ethereal. A perfect Bridgerton eyeshadow. Something that Lady Whistledown would wear or for every belle of the ball debutante.
I love this lipstick a lot. The texture is not too dry and not too shiny. This glides on the lips effortlessly, and the shade is the most appealing because it works well for my natural lip color. PMG describes the shade as โcool neutral pink nudeโ. On my lips, the shade looks like a warm pink nude, actually. Pink enough to look like you are wearing an everyday lipstick, yet neutral enough so as not to go overboard.
Gorgeous blush with multi-dimensional shades. This is one of my favorite blushes released this year so far. I love that you can get a coral blush, a pinkish blush, a plum blush, and a highlighter in one beautiful Victorian-style blush packaging like this one. I highly recommend this.
Overall, I burn for this Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton II collection. My wallet burns as well . But my skin did not, lol. I love everything about this unique makeup release. I highly highly recommend any of the products from this release. If you are a big fan of the popular Netflix series, I am 100% sure that you will be a big fan of this collection too.
Some of the biggest top-selling makeup products right now are made by Patrick Ta Beauty. Have you ever heard of their amazing Double-Take Crรจme and Powder Blush? How about the ever-trending Major Dimensions Eyeshadow Palette? Patrick Ta is really hitting all the major headlines!
In this post, we will talk about the social media fave eyeshadow palette โ The Major Dimensions Eyeshadow, and the newest addition to the line, the Major Dimensions II Rose Eyeshadow Palette, all from Patrick Ta Beauty.
The packaging of the eyeshadow is what really sparked my interest in trying the product. I really love the sleek and heavy rose-gold packaging. The eyeshadow comes in twelve pans. Two are creams, and ten are powders, consisting primarily of mattes with some shimmers and metallics.
The product is vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free. There are minimal fallouts noted on the metallic shades, but they still adhere well to the lid without any primer. The matte shades are soft and easy to blend. They can be combined with metallic and shimmery shades to create a duo-chrome eyeshadow look. The cream shades provide an excellent base to contour the lids or accentuate them.
I believe you can wear each shade alone, but who would want to do it when you can play around with the shades because every shade complements each other well. The palette can give an ideal everyday neutral eyeshadow look, but it is versatile enough to transform a daytime eyeshadow look into dramatic nighttime glam. So glad I tried it!
Just when I thought I got one of the greatest neutral eyeshadow palettes already, here comes a great contender โ The Patrick Ta Rose Eyeshadow palette is the rose-hued alternative to the original Major Dimensions Palette. There are many shimmers in the palette, which are mostly rose-toned, mauve, plum-like, and coppery. The palette still comes in twelves shades โ two cream bases, ten pans with the top shades being shimmery and metallic, and the bottom shades as mattes.
You can wear the shades individually or mix and match them. The easiest way is to use the top and bottom pans, as the shades complement well with each other. The cream shades are always great for defining the lids.
The palette is free of parabens, formaldehyde, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, sulfates SLS & SLES, triclocarban, and is also gluten-free and cruelty-free.
Overall, I love both palettes. They serve different purposes and they are both very well-made. I do not have to apply a primer to make the palette work on my lids, and the texture is really soft and so blendable for both palettes. The original Major Dimensions palette is the most cohesive neutral eyeshadow palette I have ever owned, and it works well for any skintone. The Major Dimensions II Rose palette is rosy and adds a dramatic twist to the original. It is an ideal palette for those who are looking for a bit more drama on their lids. I like both palettes, and I recommend both. Hard to choose which one is the best because both are really fabulous to have. With that being said, I am impressed with every Patrick Ta product I have tried so far.
