Bracha Jewelry Review

Even though golden jewelry pieces are not my thing, one jewelry brand sparked my love of such jewelry material. You read it right from the title of this review. It is the Bracha brand of trendy golden jewelries. What started as a random scrolling on the Nordstrom app, turned into a full-blown obsession with Bracha jewelry being purchased at 3 AM. Yup, I am awake at 3 AM because I am a self-confessed hardcore night owl, living among nocturnal animals :-). Anyway, my first impression of Bracha jewelry can only be described in one word — impressive. For each piece’s price point and quality, I am impressed at how beautifully crafted each jewelry I received. It is clear that style and attention to detail are invested in every ring, bracelet, and necklace this brand makes.

As I have mentioned, most of Bracha’s jewelry is gold-toned. However, such gold tones differ in every piece of jewelry the brand makes. Some may look more bright gold, while some may look more vintage gold. Depending on the style, some Bracha jewelry may also look more polished than others. Speaking of style, I would say that most pieces tend to be trendy and minimalist, which can also be seen as classic and elegant. Some of Bracha’s pieces are water-resistant, some are gold-plated, while some are gold-filled. The few silver-toned jewelries they have are either stainless steel or sterling silver.

Rings

Most rings from Bracha are adjustable, except for a few pieces. So, there is no need to know your ring size, which is great! The ring styles vary a lot, and Bracha keeps updating their inventory. You will most likely find yourself looking at not just one Bracha ring, but three or four, or even more :-).

Necklace

The first Bracha piece that captured my attention is the Initial necklace. It is all over Insta, and there is a reason why. The necklace is simply stunning and truly well-made. The quality is excellent, and it is such a versatile piece. The next Bracha necklace that I adore so much is the Skinny Gold-Filled Monte Carlo, seen in this post, along with the butterfly Free Spirit necklace. The Monte Carlo necklace should be a staple in every woman’s jewelry collection because it is very versatile and simply classic, which means that the necklace can be worn as is, or have it layered with other favorite gold-tone necklaces. Other necklace styles I love from Bracha are the butterfly necklaces, such as the Bailey butterfly necklace (link to purchase the necklace is at the end of this post).

Bracelet

I am a big fan of bangle bracelets, and Bracha has some really cool and classic designs. The Holly bangle bracelet (seen in the photo below) gives a classic roman goddess vibe. When paired with the Roma Nail Cuff (second photo below), the whole look becomes a modern Roman Holiday affair :-).

Whether you are a fan of gold-toned jewelry or not, you will not be able to resist the beautiful jewelry pieces by Bracha. From the style of each piece down to the price and craftsmanship, I have no doubt that you will like this jewelry brand as much as I do.

Chanel Beauty Haul

Hello. Here are some Chanel hauls I have accumulated since last Fall-Winter 2021. There are some new releases of Chanel beauty and makeup products this Spring-Summer 2022, and they are as fabulous as last season’s releases. Unfortunately, I missed out on several new releases, especially the latest shades from the Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Lipsticks and the Rouge Allure Ink Fusion because they were so in demand. I did get one of the newly-released nail polishes for this Spring-Summer 2022, which is reviewed below. Ultimately, I ended up picking a mix of classic and new shade releases of Chanel beauty products for this review.

Le Vernis in 917 Terra Rossa – Released for this Spring-Summer 2022, this nail polish is perfect for warming temps and chillin’ by the seaside. This has the perfect shade of vintage rose with a clayish vibe. Any skintone can pull off this shade, especially for those with medium skintone like mine. You can see this shade in one of my Insta photos as well (clue: the one with blueberry Danish pastry 🥐 ).

Rouge Allure Velvet La Comète Collection: The packaging is slightly different from the usual Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick due to its asymmetrical star print that is meant to symbolize “good luck”.

108 Terre D’Etoiles – A shimmery brownish nude velvety shade. This formula is quite more moisturizing than any other Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Shades I have tried.

118 Bois De Rose Astral – A bit toned down on the shimmer, this lipstick is on the rosy-pink side but still nude and muted enough for daily wear.

Rouge Allure Ink Fusion in 840 Rouge Paradoxal – I saw RED-ORANGE flames when I first tried this liquid soft-matte lipstick. I thought the shade was a bit over-the-top for me at first, but once it sets on my lips, the shade becomes a bit muted and becomes wearable. But I would not wear this daily because the shade is meant for glam events.

Powder Blush in 02 Rose Bronze – If you are looking for an every day, muted bronzy rose blush, then you must try this soft powdery, velvety compact. I like how smooth this blush applies to my cheeks, and this always applies “right”, no matter how imprecise the application can get. I blend and layer this blush a couple of times in one setting, and my cheeks still do not look sunburned. The lasting power is impressive, and this works well when applied using the fingers.

Eyeshadow-Liner-Khol in Contour Marron – I love this Chanel makeup product because it is an all-in-one eyeshadow pencil that you can use as an eyeliner, eyeshadow color, and eyelid contour. As an eyeliner, this needs to be consistently sharp, which may require some sharpening tools or skills on your part, but once you get the hang of it, this will provide for a long-lasting cat-eye flick. As an eyeshadow color and contour, you can apply this product directly on the lid (tip: apply in dots) and blend using an eyeshadow blending brush. You can also add more colors on the lid that needs some contouring, and you will be good to go. Voila! You will have a clean and easy eyeliner and eyeshadow application all in one stick.

Loving Right Now: Eyeshadow and Cheek Palettes

Are you looking to update your eyeshadow and cheek palettes? There are some exciting palettes in town. Also, if you are looking for a perfect bronzer to get ready for the upcoming spring and summer, then keep on reading.

Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde Eyeshadow Palette – Words cannot describe how beautiful and otherworldly this palette is. The name serves its cosmic definition of making eye makeup look more like a Final Fantasy animation. Every shade in this palette is beautifully crafted, and the way the shades are organized is very well-thought-out. There are 18 shades in total, composed of cool and warm tones. It is very easy to create a subdued daily matte eyeshadow look with this, and it is also very easy to create a fairy-like unicorn look or a character from Guardians of the Galaxy. Overall, there are 9 matte shades, 2 sheer reflective shades, 6 creamy metallics, and 1 duo-chrome creamy glitter. I noted minimal fallouts when applying the reflective metallic shades, which makes them a bit tricky to apply. Even then, this palette is still a must-have, and it is currently on sale at Sephora.

Nars

High Profile Cheek Palette – Nars has been busy releasing some gorgeous palettes lately, especially this beautifully-packaged cheek palette. Released during the holiday and in a limited edition, this palette comes with velvety shades that are actually quite more matte than what Nars describes as shimmery. If there is any shimmer to each shade, it is actually a microshimmer. The shades are very pigmented, and each of the shades seems to cater to different skintones but can be combined to create a unique blend. With this palette, you will most likely have everything you need to make your cheeks pop.

Orgasm on the Beach Cheek Palette – Even though this palette was released months and months ago, I want to talk about this beauty for a bit. In all of Nars’ cheek palettes, this is probably my most preferred. That is because each shade’s texture is creamy and very easy to apply. Therefore, they blend easily on the skin, and the pigment is superb. This means you only need to dab a bit of product on the cheeks. Also, most of the shades are either duo-chrome or somewhat multidimensional, and they give a peachy coral tone. The bronzer in this palette is a true bronzer shade with no hint of red or gold. Overall, the application with this palette is very straightforward. The closest dupe of this palette that I could think of is the Natasha Denona Bloom Cheek Palette, reviewed HERE and HERE.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Primrose All In One Face & Eye Shadow Palette – I. AM. SO. WHIPPED. FOR. THIS. PALETTE. 🙂 That is true. Even being whipped is an understatement for what I feel and think about this beautiful palette. Every shade is my kind of shade, every texture is perfect, and every application is always a hit. This vintage rose-inspired palette has everything you need for an all-in-one face and eye palette compact. There are metallics, microshimmers, and matte shades in this palette, and all are very creamy, blendable, and pigmented. You can go from having a natural daytime makeup look with this and then transition to a glam nighttime look afterward. I highly recommend that you get this palette. Pronto.

Dior Forever Natural Powder Bronzer in shade #05 (Warm Bronze) – Dior has been updating their makeup packaging lately, and this bronzer is so stunning, both in packaging and quality. This pressed bronzer is a well-done bronzer that does not look overdone nor has red, gold, or shimmer hints. The texture is matte, and the pigment is ideal. I say that because some bronzers will make one look very baked or very warm. This does not. The coverage starts on the lighter side and can be blended for a warm look. Blending is easy because the texture is velvety, and it blends seamlessly, giving a warm natural glow.
